D, I not only wish for them to win but I also spend my hard earned money to go to at least 4 games every year and sometimes more. I hope Jets win every game this year and Macc stay forever. I am not going to root for Jets to lose so that we get rid of a GM.
You not caring isn’t the same as nobody caring. Some of us actually, you know, follow the team, and that includes years before 2016.
He should have been out with Bowles. Now though, if he gets fired after 1 year of a new coach we have screwed up timelines again and another idzic/ Rex arrangement . We really just need sam to just put the team on his shoulders and make everyone a success.

I hope the Jets win at least 10 games this year while at least 3 picks from this draft make an impact and 1 of the other 3 shows flashes. But Macc's draft history suggests that his picks after round 1 should be met with some degree of skepticism.
Spare us your fundamentally sound logic. Macs prior drafts clearly didn’t happen so there’s no reason to be skeptical.
It most certainly is (like Allen got drafted immediately after us). The Raiders loved Farrell and he is a better scheme fit than Allen would have been. Tampa Bay needed a LB not an OLB. The Giants were taking Jones. The very next team for which he was a fit, took him. If you look at this draft, most GMs drafted for need rather than BPA. Mac is one of the few dinosaurs who drafts obsessively for BPA.

I don’t know how Quinnen Williams wasn’t a need for Jets, pass rush was a huge need for the Jets. Hopefully it’s not anymore with Q & Polite.
With Leo's contract situation I have no problem with the Williams pick. If Allen was the pick and Leo stayed put in the middle, but decided to head to greener pastures next season, Mac would be looking for his replacement regardless. With Q in the fold they can take a long look at whether Leo can ever be the guy that can get after the QB the way we believed he would when he was drafted. If his numbers don't reflect any benefits from the other guy now getting doubled, move on and draft a legit pass rusher next year if Polite proves not to be up for the challenge...
Doubt that it will happen that way. Unless Edoga really surprises, our new GM will probably be drafting our future LT next year, and almost certainly will be drafting a center after Harrison gets Sam seriously injured this season.
Greg Williams just has to promise Polite a Bounty of Baconators, Big Macs and Dairy Queen Bannana Boats after each game and we will have a beast out there Sunday I bet that works for L Williams too
