Donald is a completely different player. But he is 3-4 end also.

    Well forgive my snark then.

I root for Q because I want my Jets to succeed - but this feels like we made a poor choice.

What is this pass rusher you speak of? The Jets haven't had one in so long, I forget what they do.

I’ve heard this about every DT they have taken. 3-4,4-3 10-10 or 11 DT formation. Every coordinator says the same thing.

Next off season the threads are going to be how to use these guys properly

    A. You can rush the passer from insider or outside

    B. We still have additional picks

    C. We can still add exterior pressure defenders next offseason through free agency or the draft

Leo is a border line bust when you look at the hype behind him.

Not going to argue with you there but that doesn’t make this a bad pick

Like other guys have said so this is not original

The GM better hit in the “harder” pick rounds.....

Anyone can take BPA in top 10 year after year after year after year after year .......

Again I agree with you on this. Me saying “hey I like the Quinnen Williams pick” is not the same thing as “ MIKE MACCAGNAN IS A GREAT GM WHO SHOULD BE EXTENDED” so I’m not sure what we’re discussing here

"We still have additional picks." Funny, that's what Rich Kotite said just after jets fans unloaded on him for drafting Kyle Brady over Warren Sapp.

Lazy point, has nothing to do with the merit of this selection

Weird but I googled it and quinnen seems to be an excellent pass rusher.

Quinnen was by all accounts the best player in the draft. Can rush like a dog, and frees up lenny to do his thing.

This is absolutely a great pick.

Outrageous to suggest it’s not to be honest.

why do the jets always need a player to "free up" or scheme another player. Just drafted a pure edge rusher and lining him up and rush the pass like every other team has. Im not saying he isnt going to be a good player. Go back to the draft forums every year except last year and every year going in the #1 need is a speed edge rusher and yet the pick a DT. If the best player next year falls to them again and happens to be a DT like him, they going to take him?
