I'm not going to pretend to be mad at this pick. Williams was widely regarded as the best player in the draft. I wouldn't be surprised if an edge rusher comes to us through trade down the line, but if not, look for Jenkins to step up - and who knows, if Lee is still around, he could be moved back outside and pick up some of the slack also (I know THAT won't be a popular opinion, lol)
They were dumb to pass on Darnold last year to take Barkley, but Jones could be a lot better than you think.
I like the player we picked but I don't love the fit. Jets are not great at picking players to fit their system because they never have a "system". Constantly turning over Coaches and Coordinators...sigh...oh well, I'm used to it. Yeah, who the hell knows. No clear franchise QB's in this year's draft but at least one of them will probably prove the experts wrong.

Is it me or does J Allen play like Aaron Maybin... I think he needs to gain weight just like Maybin needed to. Lots of speed but lack of strength kept him from being a serious pass rusher.
Stinky we had this talk its getting easier to root for the Jags every day------A few of US knew who the Jets would take. Im not saying Williams is not a good player Im saying we have a NEED at edge rusher for a decade and change since Abraham left and Allen was sitting there for us and our knucklehead GM takes the D lineman,,,sorry guys not the move I would have made.
Go back and look at that draft-- Leo is one of the top 3 or 4 players from that draft. The Jets have made some awful picks in their time, Leonard Williams was not one of them. *Note that this mostly reflects that the 2015 draft will not be well regarded in history.
