The Jets were let to win SB 3, to sell the merger to the public. Thats at least one reason. Same with Miami..back to back SBS and an undefeated season equals staying out of the spotlight for a long while after.
Common sense is the new crazy, thanks to social conditioning. It's normal behavior to eagerly sit on your ass for 3 hours and more, every sunday/Saturday /monday, yelling at your tv screen?..watching a team lose for 40 years? Hoping to live vicariously through someone else's accomplishment?....but I'm crazed? ..Blazing Saddles just Started!
What makes you think you aren't being socially conditioned by the code being whispered into your ears by aliens when you're sleeping.
And here I am thinking @Hackenberg was anally probed by aliens with some mechanism that deteriorates his brain with each post he makes on TGG
Of course there's plenty here who do watch it. But they'll avoid uncool judgement by keeping that quiet. While I come to forefront without fear. But hey, golf is still a sport. Especially when you do it with friends on a hot California day with no golf cart! I only golf once a year. Seldom beating that 6 stroke minimum
I'm not the one yelling at my tv screen, to players that can't hear me and don't give a damn i exist. Disagreeing about the origin or function of a entertainment business, has nothing to do with mental illness.
So you come to a fan message board to criticize hard core fans for being hard core fans? @Brook! this is the very definition of trolling. Get this fucking guy out of here.
Oh, jeezus, grow up. I'm Not trolling you. Who said I wasn't a fan? I view it like wrestling. You view it like a unknown outcome.
You already know the Jets won't amount to anything this year, as far as a playoff threat.. If "anything can happen".. you wouldn't know that and the might actually succeed. The media obviously tells you who to focus on and then you believe your football knowledgeable because you repeated what media told you and then thsts whst happens. Whst makes it predictable? The same 6 teams take turns making the super bowl every decade or two, obviously. You can't say -anything can happen- and then say, well, these 5 teams will be in the playoffs because they always are. It' the same movie plot over and and over. Just an occasional remake with. Different actor. And of course you should- follow the money- build a stadium and you'll end up in a SB or a few years of playoff appearances. Thats an obvious predictable fact. Vikings and Jets didn't make SB but they did make conf. Championship during building or just after new stadium. Rams suck in StL, move to LA and all the magical unicorns of success fall into their lap like it's nothing difficult.
