I don't think the Jets or Bills will be easy wins for New England anymore. Miami? Yeah, the Pats are already (2-0). Haha.
I like the way the season stacks up to start out. The Jets have a chance to go into the bye week with serious momentum. They probably won't and will likely end up 1-2 at best, but I remember years when I had much less hope for this team and they ended up stacking wins early. Of course those were Herm Edwards teams and they folded the tents after buying their own hype. But if they can do the unlikely and beat the other 2 2018 QBs and Brady to go 3-0, I like our chances this season. And finally we don't have New England coming out of the bye week for a night game.
Agree..I see 4 potential losses there We need to start off with a Win vs Bills, possibly lose the next 2 (Browns and Pats), take the Bye, and then manage 2 wins out of the next 4 (Eag, Boys Pats Jags)
Selfish me says 'Yay!' If the Jets won't come to me, I'll go to the Jets. Screw you Cowboys, you're going down.
The early bye week is a good thing. It is not actually “early” when you factor in training camp, it’s actuslly right square in the middle for the players. Also, it helps if there are some early adjustment issues and/or injuries. You can shore them up before it’s too late. In past years they have been like 2-6 or something by the time they get a bye week, by then the season is over anyway. I like the bye week this year
https://twitter.com/BradleyGelber?r....com/BradleyGelber/status/1118563308792111106 This is Bills/Giants related but according to this guy the Bills week 2 opponent is at the Giants. Two games on the road to start the season for BUF both at MetLife
If that's the schedule, the toughest part is the first seven weeks. We should win the opener, but if we lose that things could easily get out of hand. Weeks 8 through 14 are super soft though, we could win all of them. Weeks 15 through 17 are tough but not as bad as they look considering the Steelers aren't as good as they used to be. Our playoff hopes could once again come down to Week 17 in Buffalo.
week 1 opener against a weak bills team. should give us at least a good start to the season. week 2 prime-time game against the browns (MNF) should be tough (landry is going to own roberts) week 3 pats - probably a loss week 4 bye (not a fan of the early bye but whatever) realistically speaking we likely go 1-2 into the bye week and we'll have to hear the sky is falling, gase sucks, mac sucks etc nonsense here for 2 weeks. then we have eagles, cowboys, pats, and jags, fins. So honestly it's very likely our 1st half is like 3-5 or 2-6 and the tank talk begins. the 2nd half though is pretty weak overall and we should go 6-2 or 5-3 in the 2nd half. so best case 9-7 worse case 7-9 i'm thinking
Tiger Woods has a better chance of making a birdie on every hole of the next golf tourney he plays in while the the NYJs under Gase have zero chance of winning a SB under him
Miami is the weak team in this division. Bills and Jets are probably evenly matched. They split last year with each winning on the road so the Jets winning week one won't be easy.
You know it !.......... Not sure why everyone is penciling the Cowboys as a loss. It's a home game - they're not exactly world beaters. That being said I can easily see the Jets go 10-6 pre-draft if things bounce right. That's why they play the games.
Exactly why is betting my stock market wins so important? Certainly as great as TW is I sincerely think he will be unable to a accomplish a birdie on every hole of the next major he plays in OTH I would bet that the NYJs chances of being the next SB winners most doubtful at best because of the Gase/Jounson combo vs the Belly/Brady combo
