There's been some chatter about Russell Wilson playing for the Giants. I like it...keeps the lazy media focused on something other than us. https://nypost.com/2019/04/14/biggest-clue-yet-russell-wilson-wants-new-york/
The Giants would have to strip the team to have any chance of getting him in a trade. As far as free agency goes, until it happens who cares?
He's 8 years younger than Eli and is a proven Super Bowl commodity...let them put themselves in a deep hole with a move like that ....who cares
Maybe if he looked back when he played he wouldn't have gotten flagged for pass interference so much.
That's exactly the point - the only things the Giants could offer Seattle in a trade would be Barkley and something out of first round draft picks, Sterling Shepard, and Evan Engram, which would leave the cupboard so bare that it would defeat the purpose of getting Wilson.
That's a good point but you seem to be operating under the curious assumption that the Giants are thinking rationally.
It would take something crazy like 4+ first round picks or something. No players involved from the Giants end.
I could tell you were making some sort of joke, but I didn't know you were specifically talking about his lack of cover skills.
Why the sudden media obsession with getting Wilson paid? Seemingly out of nowhere this rumor popped up.
