I think this will “click” with fans as we move into the season. I’m in love with these uniforms (no so much black) and I feel as though I’m pretty stingy. Also I want to note, I read on another forum that the Jets selected only 50 season ticket holders to attend this event. The rest were probably media, ex-players and family. What were they thinking trying to turn this into America’s Got Talent? It really was not connected with the fan base at all. I consider myself outside of the collective Jets fan base demographic but even I can realize how off base they were with this. Cringe.

Also, working in media, I’m used to change. That being said people, in general, are extremely resistant to change. What I find happens more often than not is for them to go through a period of acceptance and “trial and error” and ultimately they come around. This really is no different. All this and I though I’d HATE the uniforms from the start. Love ‘em. These will grow on people.
Color rush was discontinued. The blacks are alternates and the club said they would be worn 3 times max per season
I know it’s a bit of a dorky thing but I like to wear a jersey of a player that’s on the team and matches what the team is wearing on Sunday. That’s why I’ll probably get one of each.
One thing I was just thinking about is how the players genuinely seem to like them. Not because of that silly Pup Fiction video, but because they really looked like they were happy despite the awkward setting. That makes me like them more myself.

Whether they’re really into the look or not, as a person who has played sports it’s a great feeling when you’re on a team that gets new uniforms. It does make you feel as if the team is really yours. It’s cool knowing you’re the first ever players wearing that look. It was really team building for us back in the day. Not saying it should be done regularly in the NFL, but I can see why they are into it.
only 205 pages? well, the positives are the peewee stripes on the unis and the helmets are gone! no more me-too colts design copies as for me-too eagles colors, that could still be true. eagles have black alts, although they use green and silver we could have used the new york titans gold with green and white instead of black. do you think the new ones would look better if you paired the black pants with the green top, green pants with white top, and white pants with black top? the memphis aaf team had a better design and logo, if the jets had just used jets colors ( green, white, gold) with it. the owners get a C+, it is better than the old uni, but it could be much, much better. with the fins and bills both using white helmets, the switch to green is right.
These uniforms came out perfect. The shade of green is beautiful, the white is very vibrant and bright and the black is perfect. The chrome helmet I love but the logo could have been a lot better, it’s essentially the same as the old one even though I like it more than the old one. For all the crying guys did prior to them being released they came out great, can’t wait to purchase some gear and see them in action.
I would probably never mix and match though All white All green All black I’m done with two toned looks.
I think it probably took 2-3 days of actual thought, and maybe a couple of weeks of actual work. The NFL made them wait 5 years to make the change, so the other 4 11/12ths of the time we've simply been in a holding pattern.
I guess we're all Michigan State fans now. Hopefully they look better on the field than in these photos.
I just ordered a Darnold green jersey, draft hat, and black shirt with the new logo. I wish it was September! I am pumped.
