There is nothing wrong with the current uniforms, and show me when Nike has ever made a uniform overhaul for the better?

This is a straight money grab, and there is a good chance they f up one of the few good things the Jets have going for them, their all white uniforms.

Well.....I haven't heard anything about the all white look going away. I agree the Jets - and also the Colts - have the classiest road unis going. I think the organization wants to jazz up the logo and the jerseys themselves just a little. As long as it isn't green pants for all the white jersey games I think I'll be OK with it......

 

Vikings are an upgrade. Seahawks are also very popular.

 

The Lions updated their uniforms and they are very good also.

 

Uniform changes are apart of the NFL. is money part of it?Sure. But there's nothing more pure than NFL film classics & nothing brings about more warm & fuzzy nastalgic feelings that seeing team uni's from different eras. Frankly, for better or worse.

I'd imagine the classic uni's will make occassional appearances. There's nothing wrong w. loving those. New uni's welcome a new era. Jets have been ready for such since the butt fumble IMO.

 

I could definitely see this as the black alternate that has been rumored

I bet the Jets brass liked the Browns color rush last year during that embarrassing loss and had an idea for a Jets version of what the Browns wore

 

I agree with both actually. Seattle grew on me over the years.

 

I think the black alternates will be close to this sans the logo and the black helmet. It sounds like we are going with either a kelly green helmet or white helmet. I can't imagine them making the helmet black solely for the alternates. It might be possible they can change the helmets to black with decals, however, new rules prohibit players to change their helmets (thus why the throwbacks were abolished by the NFL).

I could deal with those hideous costumes for one night game a year. Anything beyond that would be unbearable.

 

I totally disagree. The Lions had one of the best looking unis in the NFL, and their new unis absolutely suck.
