That's exactly right. They'll keep winning the division as long as the dark hood is on the sidelines. Without him, Br*dy would crash and burn.
Not sure that he has nothing left, more like he's super injury prone and he's decided to get out while he still has the ability to not permanently destroy his body. Considering how rich he is and the fact that he could probably make a living doing endorsements and other kinds of media work for the next 10+ years instead of getting his ass kicked around a football field, he seems pretty smart to me. The only reason why a guy like Brady has been able to stick around so long is because he plays in a league where you can hardly touch a QB. He's rarely been injured in his career and also has pretty much never had a crap OL that made him take hits. Maybe if he played in a past era he wouldn't have lasted this long.
First post of the 2033 season: "This is our year! Brady just turns 53 next week and has definitely lost a step"
Heh, heh, heh. Great timing, Rob. At least you did it after the cream of the free agent crop had been picked over and your team has nowhere to go with your cap money.
Probably make a run at Jared Cook. Pats tried to sign him before Gronk announced his retirement. May try to steal him from the Saints Just hope they don't get Hockenson in the draft.
Brady should take the hint he's 13 years older than him and CTE is on the horizon, for him....87 was smart to get out while he can still walk....how many God damn super bowls do you want to win
Gronk is leaving on top, has his health and he seems like a happy guy who will easily move on. Brady has everything but he is nothing without football. For some reason when I see Joe Montana doing low rent commercials it makes me cringe.
Just because you lose a tight end doesn't mean the money you saved needs to be spent on a tight end. Look at the big picture, not at one thing in a vacuum. Yes, even the Patriots will have holes to fill.
Disagree. Belichick was a good D coordinator, but average head coach until Brady came along. It's Brady that has propelled the NE dynasty all these years.
Garrapolo is one more injury and/or unspectacular year from proving to be fool's gold just as well. It's alittle hoodie...Alittle of Shady being clutch & Durable..and ALOT of Dante Scarnecchia. He's entering his 47th year of coaching. He's ancient & the patriots already begged him to come out of retirement once...I truly believe when he can no longer coachthat will be the beginning of the end.they've gotten away w average OL talent due to him for far too long. When he temporarily left they brought in Dave Deglumieno & it ws such a disaster they begged Dante to come back. It's his work that keeps Brady upright just long enough to orchestrate that spacing based quick passing attack.
