Yea I didn’t realize how much I enjoy fuddy duddy till this thread. I’m describing myself as well as I’m old(not a fuddy duddy though) and I’m prepared to not like new uniforms but understand they’re not targeting my demographic. I also am very much behind a complete rebranding as I want to wash the stink of the old Jets away.
For anyone who hates these, I am not sure why. They are fairly crisp, simple, and do not clash. I personally like the shoulders on these jerseys. It is moot as these will not be the unis anyway as they have repeatedly said that it is a rebranding of the NYJ and both logos used aren't a rebrand. Take this to the bank TGG...The new logo will incorporate a FIGHTER JET. #takeflight was the clue the team gave 2 weeks back.
They look like cheesy arena league uniforms. It could be worse, I’ll admit, but if they change it to that, why bother? That’s not even really a change, it just takes the existing uniforms and makes them slightly worse
Agreed and yes, that mock up certainly isn't going to look like the new unis. Just not enough changes.
Please please please do not come out with some funky new age numbers. It’s a lazy way to look edgy and different but then a few weeks later it just looks weird and for the next several years will just look dumb. The numbers shouldn’t be a fashion statement. They should just be...numbers.
Aside from looking like total ass, the remarkable thing about those is that they found Justin McCarriens to model them
