    Gase sucks, but McCarthy was a far worse option.

    After Barr played magic Mike like a fiddle and technically saved our GM a ton of $$$ that he would have spent on Barr? Then my question to our gm is this... Why didn't he back up the money truck and have Le'Veon Bell a Jet? He'll throw millions at an Anthony Barr but not enough to overpay and land an offensive juggernaut in Le'Veon for his kid QB? I don't get it. Well. At least Baker Mayfield now has OBJ. Poor Darnold. Bell should be a Jet maybe it wasn't Bowles maybe genius Macc should've gotten the axe too

    Part of me wants to see Bell turn the Jets offer down and then settle for three to four million less per year. On the other hand, another player taking less money, especially after a year hold out, just to avoid the Jets is going to be a little painful.

    All reports are the Jets offer is the best one offered to Bell. Why should he bid against himself?

    How do you know he’s not already overpaying for Bell?

    So if he has already offered Bell $16 million a year, with Barr backing out he should just pay him...what...$20 million a year? $22 million? $25 million?
