    * Trey Flowers
Though Erik flowers is probably responsible for more sacks we don’t want him anywhere near us.

Sitton is 30, I believe. He also had some injury issues this past season, but he is a very good pass blocker. I don't think they'll be able to sign Saffold. IMO Sitton is the next best OG, and definitely better than Quinton Spain. As long as they upgrade the backup OG from Dozier, I think Sitton would be a good signing, but can understand why you wouldn't want him. I think you're probably right about Mosely. I can also understand your liking Coleman over Ingram. I just think the Jets need one RB who is more of a power back and excels at getting 1st downs and scoring in the red zone. Ingram is great at that imo. I hope they will draft a RB in the 3rd or 4th round and pair him with Ingram or Coleman and get rid of Crowell.

Found this to be an intersting read. I can get on board with these signings.

Edge Rushers: Zadarius Smith and Preston Smith and possibly Barr.

    Maybe they sign CJ Mosley.

Help along the line no one mentioned.

Bell if not Bell Tevin Coleman.

Bell and Mosley are the top free agents at their positions and would be nice additions but I do like the idea of second tier free agents. Good character hard working guys who you pay but not top dollar for. Only a few more days and we'll see what happens.

I really like Luvu, always have.

I could see him stepping up his game even further in 2019 being in the program for a whole year.

Malik Jackson just released. For the right price he'd be a nice addition. Think he goes elsewhere and don't think we'd meet his money but he'd be nice to have. Just saw Ziettler got traded to the Giants. Was hoping he was going to get released. I would've driven the Brinks truck for him. Nice addition by subtraction for the Giants. Without Collins and Vernon what is their defense going to look like.

    Carlos Hyde released.

    TJ Lang released.

Neither great fits but both worth checking in on, moreso Lang. I just don’t think at age 31 he’s looking for our situation. He also might just retire.

Mac (or MCC as he goes by now:mad:) needs to start making splashes. This is the off-season to do it. Felt like Tannenbaum would make a few splashes a year. He was always wheeling and dealing and it was fun. Mac takes a much slower and steadier approach. That has been fine for 2017-18, but now he needs to be aggressive. The NFL news wire should be featuring the Jets every day for the next week. We will see what Mac pulls off.

I like this. But I don’t like the notion that we might offer the most (probably above market that means). He’s not a great pass rusher, he’s a combo of Lee and Williamson. Would be a welcome addition but doesn’t address our biggest problem.

Was just coming to post this. I just checked and he is actually only 26, which is significantly younger than I thought he was. I'm all for throwing money at a guy who could be here for the next 4-7 years.

It sounds like Barr has been playing in the 4-3 and not been able to rush the passer as much, which I've read is apparently a strength of his, so maybe moving to a 3-4 will do him good

Kevin Johnson in for a visit. Be nice to sign him on a prove it deal. Liked him coming out. Between the concussion and not living up to expectation you never know. Maybe he stays healthy and it clicks here. I'd take a chance on him.

On a side note. Love the fact we are showing interest in Barr. I think he'd be a nice addition and if used correctly could be an answer for our edge rush.

So he is basically the Leonard Williams of linebackers.. wooo more hidden production for the Mac lovers to jizz over. 13.5 sacks over 5 years and y’all want to give him big bucks.

He is probably a decent player but let’s not spend the big money on guys who have been proven to not get sacks. Save me the scheme bullshit, over 5 years if you were a great player you would put up more then 2.5 sacks a year.

Whenever I hear something like “spare me the scheme bullshit” I really hear “I only look at box scores”
