Read the article. Robbys apparent 40 time beats maybe 3 or 4 guys on that list at most. People track MPH on the field now. Never has Robby been in that discussion. Give this pointless rant up. Robby has football speed as they say, but Cooks is faster and could argue is world class in terms of his speed.
Strange reply as I wasn't ranting in the slightest, think that must be the other guy you are confusing me with, I don't see his stuff for obvious reasons. I didn't read the article as such just looked at the 40 times tbh as I was at work. I did say his 40 time beats "some" of the guys on that list, which oddly doesn't mean all of them and was 0.01 slower than cook. Do you have some of these mph times too hand out of interest? I only looked for his 40 time as I thought he was renowned for his speed and rollo was extremely dismissive of it. Hey, at the end of the day shoot me for being a Robby fan but I never said Cook was a Jag or whatever it was that troll guy said.
Whoops, I totally mis-quoted you, my fault dude, I will fix my post ... that was meant for someone else. BTW - on ESPN, they tend to track MPHs, never have I seen Robby on that list ... I've seen Cooks on there a # of times.
I remember seeing those mph's for us once, think it was when McGuire and Powell each had a breakaway TD of 50+ yards. Still I would be shocked that Robby wasn't high up on the speed chart
Remember what happens when you argue with idiots, they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
No one is disputing Robby is fast. Really fast. One of the fastest. The troll said Cooks isn't fast. Even though he's clearly one of the fastest players in the league. It's ridiculous.
Who is dismissive of Robby's speed. He ran a blistering 4.34 40. That's top end speed. Someone was being dismissive of Cooks speed, said he wasn't that fast, yet ran the fastest 40 at his combine at an even more blistering 4.33 and has been rated as the 8th fastest player in the league and ran 2 of the fastest 12 plays in the league a couple of years back. Robby is really fast. Cooks is really fast, timed faster and definitely faster--making FOOTBALL plays. Someone is dismissive and it ain't me.
Without wishing to get into a row about anything but it was this comment that seemed dismissive of Robby's speed, sorry if that wasn't your intent, fucking internet is hard enough at the best of times And I fully agree with you about Cooks btw.
My intent was never to be dismissive of Robby's speed. I may be an asshole but I'm not stupid. He's really really fast. But to say Cooks isn't fast, that Robby has rare speed that Cooks doesn't have is moronic given..well..anyone who watches football knows.
Idc how fast Cooks is...altbough he has good stats his hands arent nearly as reliable as Robbies are. Did you see the Superbowl? He has never been consistently clutch in the games i saw...i believe that is why he has bounced around so much. Also he is not a physical runner after the catch...i saw plenty of time where if he was able to break or evade a tackle he would have scored.
He's small. Looks 5'7 on tv. How soon before the Rams trade him away? I'll take our 6'3 speed demon Robby over him.
It’s not even high-level trolling at this point, just flat out annoying. I miss those few pages when we had intelligent conversation.
Do you disagree just to disagree or you just like to argue? Of course I know what his listed height is. All I said is he looks 5'7 on tv. When did you become one of Brandin Cooks biggest defenders?
