Looking at radar right now and snow is REAL close but is that making it to the ground ? I believe this is called " nowcast " time. The commute home today could be a mess for many lets see how this plays out

 

it APPEARS TO ME that this system is moving North and East------> hope so time will tell

 

Snowpocalypse! We're getting buried out here. Damn near white out conditions. I had several customers cancel on me so far and I'm good with it!

 

How much do you have so far? I was thinking you could go to about 6” change over around 5 tonight for you.

 

We're about 3" now but its really coming down like a major Nor'easter.

 

Where are you located?

 

25miles west of Lancaster PA. The changeover has begun. Ran Big A enough to get the driveway and sidewalks done.

A bit under 5" but I live on a hill. My elev. is 850ft.

 

Got a pitiful 1/4” in Wayne, NJ. Stopped about a half hour ago.

Coating of snow and mixing pretty much the whole time. In a dry slot now. Another few showers off and on from here on out. Expect a 2hr delay for the schools in the morning and then watch it disappear quickly when the sun breaks thru.

 

Cman ,I think ,is in a bunch of sleet right now. It has to be brutal down there

 

It is.... A real ice sheen is layered over all the snow we had. Must be like an ice skating rink out there on the roads. Plows laying down a ton of brine. Got my wiper blades up off the windshield. Hopefully this is all melted by morning or else its gonna be havoc during tomorrow's rush hour.

 

careful out there Cman and others --> my driveway is currently a sheet of ice was just out there checking things out. Freezing rain coming down and I lost the pic on my tv , dish is frozen sheet of ice as well.

 

42 degrees tomorrow and mostly cloudy. Love snow, hate ice. Neither is happening, so I guess that leaves me on middle ground. Henry the dog played with his bff/gf Raven today and he was a muddy mess from head to tail. And Raven just got a bath at the groomer this morning, hahahaha.

CMAN I hope all is well brother as MANY parts of PA are without power as I type this. Winds are a real problem in many areas right now and that soaked ground aint good for trees staying upright. Should get windy in many spots soon enough be safe all

 

I was just in my yard with my dog.....I saw a few flying monkeys

 

We're good up here C. Most of our power lines are underground. Wifey flying out of Harrisburg today and I have a feeling her flight will be delayed.
