they charge you $4 for shipping brcause they can. The Jets and every other professional franchise treat the fans like dirty whores, because they can. And we keep coming back.
Question, if you are on the waiting list, and then they finally offer you tickets......can you decline accepting them and wait longer - to get better seats??? Thanks
sure you can turn them down..but you go back to the end of the line. Face it..good seats would never be turned back in..they would be transfered directly to someone else. If you want to get in the stadium, take what they offer.
Yeah, once you have them you can request an upgrade each year to better seats if they are available. This choice is given to season ticket holders prior to the leftovers being dished out to the waiting list folks...
I thought for sure prices would go up this year....glad to hear Sec.329 will not have an increase. Ugh, now to come up with $2800.
You guys are bitching about a $4 fee?? You ever order tickets from ticketmaster online?? Those folks know how to stick it to you
The preseason is what pisses me off the most. The tickets are worthless and they make us buy them. Its total bullshit. I add them into the cost of the regular season tickets. $70 = $87.50.
The Jets were one of the last few teams to add the PreSeason games to the total package. I was enjoying the fact years ago that all I had to do was purchase the 8 regular season games and let the Jets worry about selling the 2 preseason games...now they've put it in our hands and they get the guaranteed money...I have no problem with that...it's business.
Horribly ugly from the outside. It looks pretty good from the inside, but i miss the pillars - that was the best part when i was little, seeing the pillars in the background. They're still up on the outside, but you cant see them from the inside. Brutally horrible design. - joe
So where do you long time Jets fan think is the best value for the dollar? Upper deck sidelines, anywhere on the lower level? I am curious what you guys think. - joe :finssuck:
I sit 50 yard line upstairs..12 rows up Fantastic view of the game and, at " only" $70.00 as good a value as there is in the stadium. Here's the view from my seats: http://www.seatdata.com/html/nfl_jets/section_nfl_jets_331.htm
I've driven past it, never been inside. I went out there in 2002 to go to Jets-Bears with my friends in Chicago, but the game was in Champagne, about 3 hours away. So we got loaded and watched it on TV. I miss the pillars from TV too, but you can see them from the highway. That has to be cold as hell right next to the lake in the winter.
Back when we beat Indy 41-0 in the playoffs I forgot to include the couple dollars shipping fee. They cashed the check for the playoff tickets but I never got the tickets. It was a few days before the game when I got really concerned and called them. They had given away my seats. I told them that my father had been a season ticket holder since before Namath signed, we never missed a payment and they never notified us that we were a couple of dollars short. They ended up sending me tickets for seats in another section and about 20 rows up.
Yes, well, you can also thank Fat Bill for THAT (pre-season force buy). "But other teams in the league blah blah..." Yes, well, I don't care about that, even if we did have to finance that Practice Bubble and increase our parking costs to keep the NJ Devils in NJ. As if I ever cared about THAT, either. I'm a Rangers fan, thanks. I know the price of diesel fuel has gone up, but that's OK. I'll simply add it into the total cost for this year. Inflation, the cost of living, it's all relative, I know that; but I drew the line with the WSS over the nebulousness of seating and tenure. That thread got lost in the gg crash, but hopefully they won't see fit to to reward us for our loyalty in as shabby a manner as initially proposed. Pffft, proposed - they were glossing over us old timers like we were a non-issue that never mattered. Business is business, but c'mon. If anyone wants a recap of that, I'll re-iterate - and then shake my fist. I just sewed this onto the OTHER sleeve of my JETS jacket. Har, the other sleeve is graced with a wool patch with the JETS logo that I found buried a a drawer in '02. From 1970, I posted it a few times in 2004 after I joined here and made you all touch it for luck. It had mucho mojo. Time to regain our lost swagger, a swagger we never recaptured since, er, Joe Namath. I'm excited again, even if the next couple of years are a wash.
im new to this site, Jetophile I would really appreciate a recap I never did hear what the seating plans for the WSS were. thanks in advance.
I sit in section 312 row 13 which is the 40 yard line SUNSIDE (which is huge). I wouldn't trade my seats for anything
And out rolls the welcome mat. Howdy do. I won't be sitting anywhere, including my desk,if I get busted for messing around on tgg. Hehehe. I'll be glad to later. It wasn't about the PSL's per se, but it was an issue for long standing tix holders that is worth revisiting.
