Im a Jets fan in Buffalo so unfurtunately I get stuck watching the bills games every week on CBS. One funny note though is that last week they actually showed the Jets game against the Packers here in Buffalo instead of the Buffalo game even though they were playing the same time becuase the Bills game was blacked out since the home game they had was no where near at full capacity.

Notes about the Buffalo Bills since im stuck watching there games
-They get going with the running game. If they have a descent running game it opens JP Losman up
-JP Losman is actually accurate with the deep ball. He has a gun which is why people here like him and he lovea to go to Lee Evans running up the sideline. They will try this a few times a game and thats how they might get to our goal line and score. This will be 5 or JP's 12 passes of the game. They will run run run run and then try one of these expecting the safety to sneak up for the run.
-O. Line is Horrible, There slow and sluggish. We can blitz the heck out of JP Losman. Just watch out for the deep pass.
-Mid range accuracy by JP. Losman is questionable. This is where most of his interceptions happens. He gets pressured and then knows he has to get rid of the ball but just throws it for the INT. He's not so bright. He likes to run out of the pocket and creat something but doesn't seem to comfortable in the pocket.
-Defensively there safeties are rookies, not bad with Ko Simpson and D. Whitner but they make mistakes. Chad should welcome them in the Nfl and be able create confusion and get a few 20+ yds. passes on there behalf.
-Special Teams- average special teams. Not no biggie
-Coaching staff- afraid to hand JP Losman the team. They will baby him in this game and if he makes an early mistake they will try to run the ball the whole game and just try the deep passes to Lee Evans.

    In Conclusion.
Bills play the Colts and Chargers to the wire because of the long passes to Lee Evans. We need to watch out for those. They open this up by running, running, and running and get the safeties to cheat up and launch one to Lee Evans. Thats the only way they will stay in these games and we need to watch out for that. If we treat JP how we treated Tom Brady this game will not be a problem. Defensively we can move on these guys.

your key point is that in order to blitz effectively we need to stop the run...

I fear Lee Evans to tell you the truth. He seems to be a pheonomenal receiver. He has height and speed. I hope our corners know he does have ability. But yea your are right blitz effectively and stop the run.

Dyson will be okay on his side, I'm just a little worried about the other side. We've been looking much better against the run and the total defense looks much improved across the board because of it. We've allowed an average of only 11 points per game for the past four games (45 total). This is because our run protection is better.

We need to stick to this and force Losman to put it in the air when he has no other choice, not because it's an opportunity the running game opens up for him. If we make him do that, under pressure, it'll be INT time. Our secondary will have fun tomorrow.

Well for someone living in buffalo and watching games, you have not learned to much about this team...you should stick to watching jets games...

first off losman is throwing for a lot more than 12 passes a game...in fact over the last 4 weeks....hes averaged 29 passes per game...with an average completion pct of 67 %, with 6 td passes...and a qb rating of 90%...and he is doing this against teams like the chargers, and the jags, and the colts...

secondly, you say our special teams are just average? are you sure you even watch the bills play? our kick returner is 3rd in the nfl, and our punt returner is 2nd in the nfl....our punter is the best in the league, averaging over 40 yards net per punt...a feat that has never been accomplished in the nfl...ever..

Finally, the coaches are not babying jp, they will let him throw and do what he needs to do, and it has shown in the last few weeks....we have nothing to lose, and they have turned jp lose the last couple of weeks...our o line is 10 times better than it was earlier in the year...they have giving up less sacks and have giving jp average protection....which is better than the below average protection they gave him better in the year...so before you go bashing a team, now their stats, and actually watch them..

As much as I hate to agree with a Bills fan -- this kid is right. First off, the Bills have one of the, if not THE BEST special teams in football. They have and explosive KR and PR and one of the best punters in the league.

The coaching staff of the Bills has gone away from babying Losman. They have started to let this kid trust his intsincts. Although he still makes some stupid mistakes -- he has really shown improvement sine the Texans game.

The Bills D is awfu against the run. And without Crowell they are going to give up even more yards on the ground. Look to see a lot of running out of the gates from both teams.

The only thing I fear about the Bills offense is Evans. With the right offense -- this could could be one of the better downfield threats in the game.

yea, im definately worried about crowell out for the season...that guy really turned it on this year....he made a lot of big plays for us this year...the run game has killed us this year..but even though we have given up all of these yards on the ground we have still found ways to stop teams on third downs when we need them most...that is what has kept us in the games...pretty much bend but dont break...if we could shut down the run to 100 yards or less a game...i think our d would be pretty mean...

i totally agree with the evans statement...this guy is good..any doubt about him not being the number 1 WR, has definately been answered....he set to have his first 1000 yard season, in his 3rd year, and first as the number one receiver...if this offense could get everything going on the same page, and be consistant, evans will turn out to be an all pro reciever....this guy in open field is amazing, and the speed he has is unbelievable...

I think the right play for the Jets is to put Rhodes and Poteat on Evans the whole game with Rhodes behind and Poteat in front. The Jets have done that a few times this season when the other team had a dominant WR. I saw them do it with Andre Johnson and with Roy Williams earlier in the season.

I think that's what the Jets are going to do tomorrow. The Bills will be able to run better as a result but I'd much rather see a solid running day by the Bills than a couple deep passes to break the game open. Let the Bills play their brand of slow, run-oriented, clock control offense and the Jets will come back with no-huddle speed and trickery that will win the game.

Oh sorry for not seeing the last two games. Oh thats right your fans can't support your team. The game was blacked out because Bills Fans can't fill out the stadium. I can't wait till you guys move to LA.

well dont make claims about things you havent seen....its just that simple....you havent watched them that closely, and everything you said is totally wrong....even other jets fans on this board agree with me....at least they have a clue with what is going on with buffalo, their afc east rival...and its nice to have an intelligent conversation with most of the jets fans here...obviously you're not one of them...you're just a trash talker....

by the way, the bills will never move to LA..

ok i was not trash talking. I do watch the Bills games and my assesment was right. They Baby Losman in the beginning of the games. They go as he goes. You know you coaching staff gets very tentative with Losman if he does not play well in the beginning. Lee Evans is your deep threat and Losman does have an accurate arm going deep. They like to run run run and then throw a bomb to evans off the sideline. I do respect your team and wish you guys well. So don't come in here starting trouble because its not worth it. My claims were pretty accurate. Ok I agree with you there letting losman more loose but thats just as of late. When I said that I was being sarcastic about your team. Anyways good game on sunday and I hope none of our players get injured.

The reason the Bills will NEVER move to LA is because of Tom Golisano-- the owner of Paychex and the Sabres. He has already said that if Wilson gets into financial trouble he will "help out" to keep the team in western ny. By help out-- he probably means buy. But that wouldn't be bad for the bills -- considering what he has done for the Sabres...

    What a long sentence.
I always feel its better getting insight from someone who follows the opposition team or at least watches them from time to time. This board is filled with people giving opinions that aren't backed up by any facts, and im guessing that alot of ppl haven't got a clue what they are talking about when they talk of opposition teams.

I am also stuck in Buffalo and I do have to agree with the orginal poster. Buffalo's special teams are not that good this year. Their punter (Mooreman) is excellent bu Mcgee (the kick returner) is much slower this year because they say on the radio shows that he put some weight on to become a better everyday player. They can break on on punts but only if the other teams punter is a line drive kicker and Big Ben should take care of that. They do really love to run the ball and like to keep Losman (or Loseman lol) to under 20 attempts passing. Losman will show flashes of brillance but then makes bone head plays. Stop the run and win the game its pretty simple.

2 games ago the Bills fans were killing the team. Don't let that frst game fool you. That game was close... but the Bills are no better now then they were then... one win against HOU on the last play and a close loss does not make this team scary.

BXJetFan. Thanks for the scouting report. Hopefully if you go to a sports bar they can lend you a TV to watch the Jets outside of the annual two a season Vs. the Bills. Or find someone with Direct TV.

We can sit here and analyze the Bills all day. What's the point? They suck. That's all anyone needs to know. This is the Jets game to lose.
