The switch back to the Namath era stuff I thought looked a bit odd at the time since we were playing our home games on the Giants Stadium carpet. Those uniforms looked best in dirty wretched Shea Stadium. They initially looked totally out of place in their current setting but then grew on me

True, but remember when they were using those grass pods at Giants Stadium? Between the worn grass and the unis, that gave me a little of the feel of Shea
It was a nice change & in its infancy had a distinct difference to the 69 version w a darker green & colored face masks. It was fresh & exciting in the beginning. As the subtle color changes & green pants took hold it started to become tired at least in my opinion. I really felt it was time to make a change after the butt fumble & the disastrous Idzik draft. At this stage i think the 69 look should be held sacred & only used on very special occasssions.
The Parcells change IMHO was the best unis we’ve ever had and the 1968-1969 Jets and Namath were my first football experiences and the reason why I’m a Jet fan. The changes over time to olive and drab green patchwork all over the jersey and pants basically destroyed that look. Could only stomach the all whites.
Over the course of the last couple of seasons where they have done the color rush etc what I have really liked was the Metallic Green Stripes on the White Helmet with the white face mask. That was really clean and crisp. I would like to keep the Helmet like that but with a new side logo in the same metallic Green as the stripes. Then I would really like to see a Vibrant Green Jersey with clean white accents. No black! it just muddies it all ups. Then some clean pants that link up the white accent on the shirt by going green into the pants. Then Green topped Socks with white cleats. So bright, clean and crisp. Not Dark and muddy and no very visible on the field like those dark green designs.

I was enjoying this post, I dig NFL fashion, until someone put a picture of the new jets uniforms that are clearly fake, and the next 6 pages are posts discussing a uniform that everyone knows is fake, bummer. I am pretty confident that we are using is Kelly green as I posted weeks ago with pictures from the jets. Take a hint or what?
The new green color is not that bright Kelly green shade. It's brighter than the current hunter green, but not that bright. It's in between.
I’d rather see rhe helmet graphic look a bit more like a jet tail than a airliner. Still not crazy about he numbers either.
