Doesn't change that he had losing records. The fact that he coached within the Jets division means we have seen more of him. Contrast with Bowles who came from Arizona but had similar or just as bad coaching record here as Gase had in Miami. Flip it some more Bowles was a defensive coach coming to coach up the Jets stout defense. Still didn't work. So now I think Jets fans are just beat down with all the losing and the coach hires not panning out. Then you look north and see Bellichick having so much success and he was an actual hire (no very long). This franchise is just cursed. We have had pockets of success for the last 50 years but no sustained vision or winning.
Couldn't hurt. I mean just look at the stellar group they have had since Weeb Ewbanks left Edwards, Kottite, Coslet, Walton, Mangini, Holtz, Carroll, Charlie Winner, Al Groh. Parcells, Michaels, and Ryan have had the most success.
For all of U that are to young to know Belly was not the 1st to desert us that honor belongs to Holtz then the #2 would be Groh then BP takes up 3rd place & Belly falls into 4th place
i got some old chicken bones to donate the Shaman HC can throw them on top of the gatorade container to see what play should be called next
CJ Anderson chimes in on Adam Gase: https://www.si.com/nfl/2019/01/14/d...ms-chiefs-coaching-carousel-kyler-murray-mmqb
I really do like that so many people are coming out and saying how great Gase is but none of them played for Adam Gase, the head coach. To me that's where he struggled... managing people and egos and having a full plate. Have any Dolphins publicly said they LIKED playing for Gase?
Thanks for bringing this one back boyz! We were right to panic back then as history has proved. We're about 24hrs away from being Gase free. Its been a horror show but God willing, its over now. I'll be drinking a toast the very second I hear that Gase is gone..
Whomever this inept franchise hires, in a year or 2 we'll be saying Gase wasn't that bad, guaranteed.
