So we pay Bell his money and the chances on the later happening are high, middling or non-existent, I think they will be on the high side myself.

I am sure Toilet said so in the aftermath but then downgraded it the next day.

yes, they said potentially career ending. I like Powell more than most on here, but I'm not expecting him back

I agree the jets should stay miles away from Antonio Brown. Can you imagine Brown and Trumaine Johnson across the line from each other at every practice bragging to each other about who is better?

That was at first. A day later Bowles went onto say it was a "miscommunication" and that Bilal was expected to make a full recovery to play.

If we are lucky enough to move him for a 2nd, surely we should consider going RB Round 2, right?

    Correct

I'll need to check that out breakdown.

Hopefully this won't be bad like Mariota 3 or 4 years down the road.

Just did a search. Looks like Bowles first said that it could be, but then retracted a day or two later.

The jets should not trade Williams until they at least see what he could do in a 4-3 defense. Only idiots like MacCagnan and Bowles would waste a talent like Williams in a 3-4 defense--In a 3-4 your LBs are supposed to be the stars and the DL are supposed to occupy blocker so linebackers can make the plays. Todd Toilet and his incompetent defensive coordinator never understood this.

Bell has already proven himself a drama queen. Signing him comes under the heading of "Borrowing Trouble." Don't do it. Besides, it's pretty important to sign a HC ahead of the draft, and both of those are more important than signing a me-first kind of player like him.

The Jets have patented their crappy 3-4 with slow as molasses DL lined up as OLB/Rush ends. A 4-3 with real edge rushers and Williams on the inside would be a welcomed change.

Could be. Many players (Wilkerson) get fat and lazy after signing a huge contract. Bell could follow suit. I don't really 'know' him that well as a player/person, so I can't make any guarantees. 'IF" Bell continues to play at a high level, he'd be a god send for Sam.

I’d imagine if he can pass a physical he would be back on a team friendly deal. Either way,Bell is rb plan A. Than Powell and McGuire or draft pick and McGuire .

Yes to Ingram, but Barber is horrendous.

I really would be shocked if Bell isn't playing for the Colts next year. I definitely hope the Jets make a run at him though.
