None of those options would be true for me. I would watch and care the same amount if I hated them. Although I feel like they would lose a sense of identity, it wouldn't change my interest in watching them. That being said, good uniforms would make me more interested in watching them.
The Pats had beautiful uniforms. Then they ruined them and played better. Then they ruined them even more and became the best team in football. I'd take that.

Don't go there... just don't. Most of these rumours seem pretty consistent to me and tie in with the way the team has been introducing different things throughout the season. Green will be lighter, but not as light as the color rush unis . Logo will be tweaked. Black will be used to some extent and there will be a black alternate, probably in place of the color rush. Darker helmets. What no one has hinted yet is the actual uni designs. And that's probably the biggest change and the thing that makes or breaks it.
Most of these rumors seem pretty consistent with rumors in general - people who don't have anything but hunches making a big deal about something that is not one at all. It would have been so much better if the team one day just dropped a bomb - here's the new uniforms. Then everyone could bitch about them until they got tired of it all. I expect the worst (much as you've described.)
I'm 2 seconds from dropping these guys anyway so ugly unis wouldn't exactly send me over the edge. However, ugly football AGAIN OTOH, will set me off to the point that the unis won't matter. #2020OrBust

This is consistent with what I heard..brighter green but not as bright as Kelly; green, white and black uniform sets. The new info to me is that the helmet will be green, and the logo will have a football as well as the word jets.
Since Monday, redundant threads have become my most hated thing about the Jets. And that’s hard to do.
Depends--If they're still last in the division, but still have the most pro bowlers in the division, how can you not watch? Terrible unis or no.
