    Little tidbit on Allen...

Just won the Jack Lambert award for best LB in college football.
Past winners of this award include Keuchly, Khalil Mack, and Von Miller.

Led the SEC in Sacks, Tackles for Loss, and Forced Fumbles.
Shows me he plays behind the line of scrimmage against good competition, and makes impact plays.
I also like that he's a true LB, and not a DE projected to play 3-4 OLB.

    Originally from New Jersey.

This is the guy I think the Jets should draft (at least at this stage in the process).
I want offensive help, but this will probably be the most impactful player available.

Ive been talking about him since mid season. He's a fantastice pass rusher with very good explosvieness off the edge and great bend. Going back for his senior season and adding weight really help his game. I'd love it.

Reminds me a ton of Dion Jordan as a prospect. Bother were long and y’all defenders with position flexibility l.With his ability to go play the run rush the passer and cover RBs and TEs. The fact that he put these numbers in the SEC is extremely impressive. Like him a lot and would love him as a Jet. Think he is a way safer prospect than Jordan too way more a natural football player and can really rush the passer just wasn’t asked to a lot at Kentucky

I didn’t love Jordan. He was taller and weighed less. I believe 6’7 and around 240, Allen is reported 6’5 and 250. It may not sound like much of a difference but he looks more filled out and is a much better in the run game than Jordan was. Similar explosiveness, I just think Allen is more we’ll rounded of a linebacker

A perfect example of a late bloomer.

Played final year of HS ball at Montclair (NJ) HS after first 3 years in Alabama where he was an All State WR. Originally committed to Monmouth (yes, Monmouth!) before getting a late offer from Kentucky. Now he's a stud All American.

The kid looks like the real deal with big-time explosion and closing ability off the edge. Can also handle bigger lineman pretty well.

If the Jets stay at 3, I think he needs to be the pick.
