Sam has the most success when the play breaks down and he can play schoolyard football. The coaching staff is completely unable to put him in a position to succeed. He has to do everything on his own.
I think with some more weapons and more help on the o-line Sam has a great chance to be the QB we’ve all been waiting for.
So excited to see what Darnold could look like with a year 2 jump, non-trash coaching and a couple playmakers.
If anyone wasn't already convinced Sam IS the real deal and his biggest problem is Bates. Really impressive drive to finish the half. Apparently Mac has a knack for hitting on guys named Anderson!
maybe not innovation, but someone who can mold him into a franchise QB. McCarthy isn't innovative but he did revive Brett Favre and develop Aaron Rodgers.
Spot on Feel bad for him. Get the kid some help. 21 year old baby trying to make something out of nothing. With an idiot at coach, idiot at OC. Sam is growing up a lot this year
Growing up in a dysfunctional household. I swear Bowles and Bates have a learning disorder. Football Dyslexia? It's like watching Forrest Gump trying to coach a football team.
