Enunwa just threw Bates under the bus, got in the bus, drove over him, backed up over him, drove over him again, then backed over him again. He also threw a whole bunch of "undisciplined" players under the bus, but didn't name them.
And like a zombie Bates rises from the dead, eyes blank, hands outstretched, reaching for that contract extension...
Nah, according to Rule 2 of Zombieland (one of the great movies of the last 10 years, starring Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, and my main crush Emma Stone) a double tap should do it.
Has he been fired yet? An affirmative answer to that is the only thing positive that can happen at this point.
One Of those cool offroad mad max type buses? Or a party tour bus? Im thinking the nfl would frown on the latter.
I didn’t watch the game but I saw they lost. Now that it’s 9 losses, the staff will be sure to play Darnold next week
This is exactly what I’m talking about. Theyve gotten scolded for speaking up so they don’t anymore. A complete losers mentality has taken hold of this team
Why play him? Why not keep him benched? Maybe because he was still injured ? You claimed Robby and Enunwa were ducking out the last two weeks and they both played the last two weeks. You claimed Maye was ducking out 2 weeks ago and he played. So. Which is it?
Let's let Mike M coach the next game just for sh!ts and giggles .he played a little football didn't he??..this Bowles firing watch is boring...I mean would it really make a difference? Let Macnitwit get out from behind the desk and the Starbucks coffee so he can stretch his legs a little...get the Johnson Brothers to handle Offense and Defense..might be better than that Marx Bros movie Horse Feathers... ahahah
Haha whereever the screen name Burn in Hell Woody is these days he has to be clapping his hands in joy cause he warned all of you about Woody some years back & was totally flamed for it. U ought should have listen to him them then & U would not be in the depressing the state he is put all of you in now.
Calling Bowles "a circus" isn't right. It's now a forgone conclusion that his time is up, which is a good thing. I like the guy. I think he'll be a solid defensive coordinator again in the future. It's clear Todd Bowles is not the answer to future success with Sam Darnold's Jets, but I will not bash him. We have many problems to solve. He is one of them, not all of them. Funny how Rex is better now. Just like Mangini was at the end of Rex's time. Herm prior to that etc etc
Also - I never root for Jets losses, BUT, why fire Todd now? Maintain top-five draft position. Better to keep things the way they are. If we lose the rest of our games close - like yesterday, we'll be in decent shape in the spring without the added embarrassment. Todd doesn't need embarrassing losses to get fired at this point. Stay the course ; )
