I expected Josh to spark the offense but it is obvious that the Jets problems are much more than QB play. After watching the Buffalo game I don't feel that bad about Sams play. If a 39 year old QB can't cut it with this offense how can we expect a rookie to carry the team. This team looks tired & totally out of sync.
Two-fold problem 1. Jets Offense is full of fucking donkeys. You don't win the Kentucky Derby with a fucking donkey. 2. Jeremy Bates, the jockey of these donkeys, is also a fucking donkey. 3. This is a bonus; Todd Bowles and Mike MacCagnan are both foul donkeys. 'Nuff said. In that light, I am inclined to think that Jets do have a really good QB in Sam - no HoF QB could have looked any better than Sam has.
Chris Johnson should go to a homeless shelter, call the attendees together and ask who remembers Don Coryell, the first guy that raises his hand they should make the new Jets Head Coach. As a 62 year old fan I would rather go 0-16 losing 45-40 than this stinking offensive shit show we have been forced to watch for the last 20 years.
All our offensive weapons are injured or playing injured. McCown is a 39 years old never been merc. The O looks horrendous but they have some valid excuses. What's the excuse for this defense not forcing any mistakes/getting beat by the likes of Osweiler and Barkley the past two weeks?
I don't think prime Peyton Manning could survive behind this OL. I'm at the point where I wouldn't mind getting a new HC and GM. Neither Bowles nor Macc has earned the chance to stay after this season.
The defense wasn't the problem against Miami last week and this week they're showing up the people who blamed them.
Simple, we have two extremely incompetent coaches running our defense in TB and KR yet some here still think is a personnel issue.
you probably get to a point where you think "what's the point of trying, the offense won't doing anything anyway, I am just trying not to get injured"
Only good thing I can say about today is that I feel much better about Darnold than I did a couple of weeks ago. He's actually managed to elevate the play of these fools around him.
In that case they have no heart. I've been hearing good things about Buffalo's defense this season. Today was my first opportunity to watch them play. They've been playing with one of the worst offensive teams ever.
The defense has plenty of decent talent to be competitive. They just quit on this incompetent excuse for a coaching staff.
For the first time I really didn't care if we won. If Sam was playing I would have liked to see us play well. I don't want to be in football he'll with 6 or 7 wins and miss out of a top 5 or 10 pick, and be in CS LIMBO with, we'll we improved enough to keep CS on for another year. I can't see any team on our schedule That we have a chance of beating, except maybe Buffalo. My bet is we will be picking top 5 in the Draft with a new CS.
He didn't play today. We need a better coach and better trolls, you aren't cutting it anymore. #FireHawk-o
Misread your post, I thought you were also referring to the offense. I think the defense gave up on purpose today to get Bowles fired.
Sad to say after today's fiasco, this has to be the worst team in the league - getting destroyed at home against a terrible Bills team. It'll be interesting to see if after a few more like this one, will the last nail in the coffin for Bowles be finally hammered in?
