It really only rained toward the end of his pro day and he was still throwing pretty dry balls. The trainers did an excellent job making sure.Im more concerned about fumbles with the wet ball. Long is probably out tomorrow so hopefully snaps are not going to be an issue
Yeah, considering everything one would expect a real conservative approach here. Gonna be interesting
would like to see Cannon get a crack at a Chris Thompson type role this week ..going to have to get creative Sammy needs weapons
Schefter says Allen Robinson is not expected to play due to a groin injury, while Khalil Mack will be a gametime decision and could be limited if he does play. So we got that going for us...
I don't think the Bears are all that. I still don't think the Vikes are all that either. But with the Jets as banged up as they are on the offensive side of the ball I'm not liking their chances today. It'd be nice to see our key guys (Darnold, Williams, Adams etc.) step up and play great games, find a way to win instead of playing down to the expectations/using the built in excuses for losing this game. Heck they don't even have to win go out there an d compete give the Bears all they can handle just don't go out there lay down/get their doors blown off like everyone expects them to.
Just posted on PFT. Mack is inactive today Khalil Mack inactive for first time in NFL career Posted by Josh Alper on October 28, 2018, 11:44 AM EDT Getty Images Linebacker Khalil Mack‘s teams have played 70 games since he entered the NFL and Mack has been in the lineup for all of them. That streak will end on Sunday. The Bears included Mack on their list of seven inactive players for their home game against the Jets. The news isn’t out of left field as Mack was listed as questionable on Friday’s injury report because of an ankle problem that’s been bothering him for several weeks. Word on Sunday morning was that Mack would take part in pregame warmups before a final decision was made and it must not have gone well. That report also included word that wide receiver Allen Robinson would sit out with a groin injury and that turned out to be the case. The Jets, meanwhile, will be without wide receiver Robby Anderson and cornerback Trumaine Johnson after listing both as doubtful.
Nope. He was asked about the finger effecting his snaps and he said no excuses, I have to do a better job.

I guess they figured this game was a layup, kind of like a Bye and decided to let him get healthy. I’m not celebrating his injury but I’m not going to lament it either. Never look a gift horse in the ass.
