Wow... they're using terminology like "had to be one of the Packers' worst single-half performances in history." We cleaned their clocks.
Going into the game the Jets were 2-2 in their last four games and 6-5 overall. That is close to the definition of mediocre (looking only at the records).
I like it when other coaches consider us "mediocre." Everybody wrote us off because of our injuries and our record last year. They're not paying attention to what is going on over here at Hofstra.
I remeber Favre saying this was also the most talented team he's ever been a part of. Some guy I hate is a Packers fan. It made yesterday so sweet.
This is nothing new.... we as Jet fans are used to getting no respect, even after we own an opponent. Funny how someone , even one of our own would talk about how we were 2-2 going in.... but we were also 4-2 going in....
dude, the packers BLOW. i hope one of their fans is trolling this thread. they have zero offensive impact players. that jennings kid is just hyped up because farve claims to like him. they have a decent secondary and AJ Hawk. and thats pretty much it. the team floats with the "experts" because brett farve is a media darling. Brett Farve is washed up. I'm not even trying to make the jets out to be a great team, I just think the packers are not good. BTW packer fans, looks like you guys have a sweet option to replace farve once he goes. They got blown out at home. Can't label a team at mid-season. If the Jets run the table and finish 11-5, they would not be considered mediocre.
THe local sportswriter down here has picked against the Jets every week so far. This past week he picked the Pack by 60 since it was going to be in GB with the weather and Favre "excelling" in that type of atmosphere. There is still no respect
