Yes I also agree with this that Man is bringing pride & respect for a organization which up to now there was very little of. Making players proud to play for the team is very important component to winning games IMHO

Probably even more important is the fact that the players have bought into the system and realise that it works.

Bryan Thomas wants to stay because he believes in Mangini and that will have the knock on effect that others will stay too. Key free agents will look at the Jets as a team gunning for the superbowl rather than a payday

I haven't even considered about how the Jets will finally be attractive to free agents...GOOD POINT!

on a sidenote, I have a question that loosely relates to the Free Agents:

if player(s) from a team (i.e. Jets) contact other players who are FA's or soon-to-be FA's and talk to them about signing with the Jets or try to convince them to sign; is that considered tampering?

    cheers

yaeh....just like Omar Minaya says what happened to the Mets...Three years ago back-up catchers would not sign with the Mets, even when they were offering more money than other teams...Now, he says, agents are calling him up because plalyers want to play for the Mets..

First, if your hat goes off to Mangini, then how about photo-shopping that helmet off of GC Scott.....j/k.

I am starting to get a bit giddy over what I see going on. After the depths of last year we all deserve it.
