Jets are taking on a Broncos team that will be coming off a Monday night game against Chiefs. I see this game as 50-50. Let't see what happens.
The Monday game and the travel may be the Jets saving grace but i still suspect it will be a bit ugly. Hopefully the team comes to ball and Sam shows some improvement.
Lol. They are playing on Monday night and traveling east. I think Jets have a fair shot at winning this.
It appears the Broncos could be playing on Thursday nite instead of Monday and travel East on Friday and Todd Bowels and the Jets would still not be prepared. Emanual Sanders and company are gonna have fun against Trumaine Johnson and company .
Just a quick look at the stats shows that teams are completing a very high percentage of passes against the Broncos. Maybe this is an opportunity for Sam to find his groove.
I fully expected that winning and losing wouldn't matter by some point in November, and I also expected that the team would be in "who stays and who goes" mode by then. I didn't expect that by the Columbus Day weekend it would already be time to wonder why half the team is mailing it in. If this level of incompetence continues it will be impossible to evaluate anyone, including of course the most important person, and then this season will truly have been a complete waste. Denver is not a very good team. The Jets know that they are playing for their own and their coach's careers. If they are not flying around the field from start to finish I fear that this will end up being a far worse season than either of the last two (no matter how many games they win) in terms of the impact on the future of the team.
Optimistic view. If the season is a trainwreck, maybe that's what it takes for ownership to hire more competent people to run the team.
As already stated: The Broncos have not even played yet. Let's see how they look tomorrow night against the red hot Pat Mahomes and the Chiefs. The short week and flying east give the Jets an edge. The team needs to want to win though. I have seen 0 heart the last 3 games. Flat out embarrassing really. The Jets need to/should be .500 headed into the Vikings game. Will they be? Hard to say. Also, it would be nice to try to block Von Miller and Bradley Chubb, to give Sam a chance.
Jets 30 Broncos 13 I just don't think the broncos are that good, at least not on the road. Jets stop the bleeding lead by a good game from our qb.
no way 50-50 shot, more like 10-90 there's no way we can block their pass rushers, which means a minimum of 7 in coverage, and the they this offense has operated so far?......they are going to kick the snot out of us
The only time this team seems to get motivated to play is when the Tri-state media shits on them loudly. So far, Bowles' pass, while fading, still is giving cover to a poorly coached team that rarely seems motivated. When the oline faces any kinda of pass rush, they fold like cheap lawn chairs and its Run Sam Run. They will see that from Denver even though the ponies are playing on a short week. I don't see the Jets winning this game, but if the team plays like they did in Jax, I can see the fanbase turning on them PDQ. Besides, I don't remember the last time the Jets beat Denver. Honestly, I really don't and I doubt if the outcome is any different on Sunday. Blowes better have this team ready to play 60mins. I expect a loss but I will be really pissed if its a asskickin punctuated by piss poor game planning and execution. If I see our $72mil dollar man get smoked again........ So far, Macc fucked up with that signing. I don't see anything close to acceptable ROI here.
