I'm not sure if the Jets will go all in with the youth at WR + Decker. Though I'm ready to give Quincy #2 spot. A capable QB can get him the ball. Anderson is the big play guy and Peake is someone I feel can be a complete package. I love Marshall as a do it all type WR. The potential is there
I like Enunwa but I dont think he's as fluid as Boldin. Its not really a knock as Boldin was/is incredible. Enunwa might actually have better straight away speed but Boldin for his size and strength was/is underrated in terms of his athleticism, quickness and route running. I suppose its a good comparison in some ways in that we hope Enunwa becomes Boldin. I also think Enunwa, while making strides in this area, needs to get better at grabbing the contested catch if he wants to be the next Boldin
Enunwa is electric with the ball in his hands. Don't see how this guy didn't get many screens or short routes allowing him to make a guy miss and take it to the house.
I hope the next OC uses him sorta like Ty Montgomery in Green Bay....screens, out of the backfield, running the ball. If any noticed when Montgomery moved to running back is when Green Bay started winning again
What is going on with his neck at this point? Any updates? I never really even heard exactly what it was. It wouldn't surprise me if he winds up retiring, all depending on what actually happened. If it's due to cervical spinal stenosis, he's pretty much screwed. If anyone has heard or read anything since he was put on IR, please post. Thanks. EDIT & P.S.: Bulging cervical disc, surgery. Unfortunately I know more about necks than I wish I did. Don't know when he had the surgery, though.
Don’t forget how much Quincy changes this offense. He’s got size, speed, spectacular catch ability and elite run after catch potential. On top of it all, he’s an outstanding blocker and commits to his clear-out routes to help other players get open. He’s a selfless player that’s dedicated to executing the offense the right way even if it doesn’t show up on his stat sheet. If he’s fully healthy it changes the whole offense.
Seriously, with any other receiver on our team (and most tight ends) that play is blown up for a gain of 1.
By the end of the year Enunwa will have established himself as a "true #1" wide receiver in the NFL. Dude is freakishly athletic and is extremely physical.
Enunwa would be wise to test the free agent market, as such I don't expect them to extend him during the season.
