Yeah let’s criticize the one player on offense who has balled in back to back weeks. If Darnold doesn’t miss him before half he’s over 100 and a score this week.
I completely agree with you. And if I may add, seeing Pryor today in person solidified for me that he does not play at his potential. He doesn’t fight to get open or really use his body to finish plays. It’s catch and fall or run the route but not really fight for separation. Darnold has to be right on the money to Pryor. Not to mention on the Enunwa catch and fumble, Pryor could have blocked or even just push/pulled Enunwa toward the goal line. It’s things like that -that seem small but have a great effect on the velocity of the team scoring. Robbie tried to to put in work, yes he definitely had a clear cut TD down the sideline. But hey it happens. I really think the refs were very unfair with their calls today and that truly didn’t help at all.
Besidea typical laziness, perhaps Pryor not growing up as a receiver has something to do it. Maybe he needs a crash course from Michael Irvin on physicality. Just a thought.
I love Quincy. I'm happy he's back. But Sam missed Robby for A TD when he hit Q for a first down. I get that they have chemistry and Sam feels comfortable throwing to him but can't lock in on him at the detriment of our other playmakers. McCown hit Robby when he was open on the routes
This team is a work in progress. They have talent, Sterling, Tomlinson and Herndon can all be playmakers at TE, Enunwa should be in the commercial instead of Diggs, his hands are like glue, he gets open and he's hard to tackle. Pryor is a key producer 'if' they use him properly. He's big, strong, fast, elusive in space and generally makes plays. Either Pryor or Anderson can take the top off the defense. I didn't count the times today (too busy with friends at the game) where I saw Pryor and Anderson on the same side while Enunwa or Kearse were on the the other side. That is a messed up formation, you know the other side will be running short routes so you don't double and don't press that side. One of Pryor or Anderson will be looking to clear space for the other.. no... Anderson can't get free releases if you press him and play off Pryor with safety help you leave your only option a RB out of the backfield. That's not what I want to see from my OC. I want to see my OC not make defensive calls easy. I don't really see that from Bates yet. This team has a lot of talent at WR, they need to learn how to use it and disguise it better.
The receiving corp was er er supposed to be one of the solid pieces in this masterpiece...?? Birthday ruined by Toilet the Bowles and the scrubs hes surrounded Darnold with What an easy team to hate
Pryor is GARBAGE. Q should have laid out on that deep ball Sam threw. I 100% agree if that's Robby or Kearse that could have been a TD.
Sure..my bad The more I think about it Champ is SO RIGHT The JOHNSONS have to go...think about it who's created this stinker called the Jets?? Who's done the hiring of the CS AND FO??? Chris and Woody are terrible owners...they no less than the worst poster on the TGG (who definitely knows more imo) Why pay into their greedy pockets and show up for games??? Fans are just suckers...willing to go year after year with 5 or 6 wins and buying into the company line...triple FEH
If you follow the conversation it had moved on to Pryor and that is who he said wasn't a natural WR as he was converted from a QB.
