Can someone explain this to me. Robby catches it, fumbles, then grabs the ball CLEARLY with his right hand while flat on the ground.

    How is that dolphin's ball?

They usually say whoever comes out of the pile in those scrum ends up with the ball but given how much point of emphasis the NFL puts on player safety, you'd think that of all plays would be outlawed. That is arguably among the most dangerous plays on the field with that pile up in a scrum for the ball.

True, but the cheetah is the huntress while Twig is more like the antelope aka prey.

    Lol.

He's a speed receiver a homerun hitter. In the mold of a Desean Jackson IMO. He's exactly what Devin Smith was supposed to be.

I'm more upset about the fact that he's been almost a non-factor in the first two games it seems he has zero chemistry with Darnold so far.

Instead we're getting the Quincy Enunwa show they might send Quincy to the Pro Bowl but this O ain't gonna reach it's full potential with Robbie Anderson playing a it role.

Robbie Anderson is the Jets most dangerous offensive skill weapon.

Actually this is the year when we find out if Anderson is truly Darnold’s # 1 WR. If it keeps going like this the Jets will need to find a # 1 WR this off season . You must supply your young QB with a go to # 1 receiver .....

I don't think the jets need a number one. They need guys who can catch.

Robbie got drilled from behind that said one hand on the ball is not possession,,,,,,,,once there is a pile up its like " dog pile on the rabbit " anything goes

No... I think Q owns that title now. Twig is a one trick pony and he's not really getting that done regularly either. Some games he's open, most times he's a well covered bystander.

Haven’t posted at all today so I’ll get my bitching out in one post in this thread...

    1) Robby *obviously* recovered his own fumble. Wtf was that?

    2) The Dolphins player was juggling Darnold’s 2nd interception as his 2nd foot came off the ground. That’s not a pick.

    3) There was a 4th and 4 where Lachlan was directly into. Is running into the kicker not a penalty anymore?

    4) There was a 3rd down sack where the Dolphins DT drove Sam through the ground. That’s been a point of emphasis these first 2 weeks and called multiple times. I guess we don’t get those?

The Jets blew way too many opportunities today and didn’t deserve to win. But come on.

IMO robby has always been a liability in the short game because he lacks the physical strength. He can't outmuscle anyone so even if he ended up with the ball, in a pile the ball was taken away from him and as such it was a fumble. He needs to either bulk up, or work on how he holds the damn football.

I was thinking the same thing, but I guess hugging the ball and being down isn’t a clear sign of possession.

Along with the complaints about receivers, where has Kearse been? I know he missed week one, but he’s a legitimate, proven guy who wouldn’t drop passes like Herndon or fumble like the younger Andersen or Enunwa. Bates has to work him into the game plan for Thursday.

You forgot ticky-tack defensive holding when we stopped them on 3rd down late in the first half. Then Tannehill threw a TD.:mad::mad:

The jump ball to Robby in the corner of the endzone was PI. The d back didn’t even turn his head to make a play in the ball. asinine no call

Because in order to recover a fumble you actually have to keep the ball.

Putting one hand on it isn’t a recovery
