Yes, Darnold and the entire Jets team were terrific. It was all I could have hoped for as a Jets fan. Even the pick six because of how well he bounced back from adversity. Having said that, let's not go crazy about us being contenders now or anything like that. It's a long process, we're a young team with multiple holes, and every rookie QB, no matter how good he'll become, is going to have a terrible game and probably a few of them. As Jets fans we just need to enjoy the ride and hope it'll be a good one. Now excuse me while I return to my partying.
I don't think anyone would disagree, there will be bumps in the road... some of those bumps will seem like mountains. But for tonight, we will enjoy our moment of euphoria.
The NFL doesn't allow you to be happy for too long, so enjoy it while you can. We all know we've got a long way to go.
