only losses to Jax, Minny and a random opponent (possibly Denver) Looks like time to reset my schedule prediction.
Relax...this is how you end up being a long suffering fan. Just enjoy the ride with a young QB. When you start predicting records after 1 week and then look back later in the year...more times then not you dont come across as intelligent. So just roll with the flow week to week with this young squad
The Browns D is here to stay and will give us all sorts of problems ... division games are never easy ...
Yea while we all would sign up for 7-3... I doubt it happens. Calm down it was only one game. Never strongly react to one good game or one bad game!
Witnessed a lot, but this one is one of the most bizarre wins I’ve seen. I believe Sam’s brain fart gaffe helped us. It energized the entire team. They love this guy.
Never project wins. We were 6.5 point underdogs tonight. We were 18 point underdogs 50 years ago against the Colts. Tonight could have been a preview or a fluke. We still have a coach with a history of losing what should be easily winnable games. We still have a team in rebuilding. There isn't a team in this league that isn't capable of beating us. We could go 7-3, or 3-7 or 10-0 or 1-9. Who's to say that Miami doesn't beat us 48-17 next week, and Darnold throws 4 INTs? One game at a time.
Take it a game at a time. There will definitely be growing pains and speed bumps, but what I saw tonight makes me believe the basic ingredients are there, so it's only a matter of time and everyone staying healthy. What a difference a FQB makes!
I'll wait until next Thursday to predict. But they looked great last night. Hopefully we have an energized crowd on Sunday! Go jets!
There is a reason pundits call this "over reaction monday" That was a hell of an enjoyable game, but lets not kid ourselves just yet. Weeks 1-3 are basically extended preseason where the starters start to find their groove. We will know a lot more at the end of the month.
The Lions were really bad but It's almost as if that pick-six to start the game made them overconfident, and made us collectively rally around Sam Darnold in all phases of the game, which was GREAT to see. We saw things we've sorely missed the past few years. Difference-making things such as defensive turnovers, and special team TD's. But the best part of all that - aside from the victory, was that the entire team reacted as a unit. They looked like a team.
The best part was Darnold staying level headed, confident and resilient ... he was unfazed by the pick six and the kid is 21 years old !
