About 3400 yards - OVER Completion percentage 63%. - not posted but should TDS - 20 passing. 2 rushing. - UNDER Interceptions. - 15. UNDER Fumbles lost - 2. UNDER
Over 3200 yards, probably around 3900 yards Right around 22tds Under 16 ints. More rookie QBs are deliberate with their passes than ever. Trubiski had 7, Watson who threw mor INTS than Darnold was good too. Under 6 fumbles. He's not carrying the ball lowm outside of his body or in one hand like At USC
I think these are all fair numbers honestly. I wouldn't feel comfortable saying over or under for any of them other than INTs... I think he will finish with less than 16 because we are going to be playing conservatively. Quick throws, easy throws, small chunks of yardage. That also probably leads me to believe under 3200 yards as well, but not by much.
Think the bigger question to answer is: How many passes on the money are these bootleg TEs going to drop?
Over 3200 yards Under 22 TDs Under 16 INTs Over 6 fumbles my prediction is 3400 yards, 20 TDs, 10 INTs, 8 Fumbles
I’m going big, FQB with good WR’s: 4200 yds 30 tds 10 int 68% completion percentage. 250 rushing yards, he’s going to scramble just to stay alive at times. I know it may sound crazy but it’s a dink and dunk offense, with the occasional down field throws to Q and Anderson.
Don't go crazy guys, support the kid in his rookie year, no matter what. Kid's young, hasn't been playing QB that long, there will be alot of ups and downs. There will be flashes of hope, so try to not let this year get you down.
If he does that he won't only be Rookie of the Year, he might be Player of the Year, a la Jim Brown, Fred Lynn, Ichiro Suzuki, Wilt Chamberlain, and Wes Unseld.
This is a different guy--he's not Geno or Sanchez or Clemens of Fitz or Petty or Hack even Chad (each of whom had massive detractors)--I think the overwhelmingly vast majority of Jet fandom believes in Sam and is rooting for him.
Last time a rookie beat out veterans was Russel Wilson with Seattle, Pete Carrol was criticized for giving him the starting job. They ran the ball to keep him safe but Russel eventually took off as a QB. I’m not saying Sam is going to win a SB, I’m not that presumptuous, but if he has demonstrated the ability to run the offense, it’s just a matter of time this season before he masters it and the games beging to flow for him.
There's going to be a do-over for everybody tomorrow after the Jets play on MNF tonight? YPG 201+ TD's 1.5+ Int's 1 Fumbles .5 So Over, Over, Push, Over
You're preaching to the choir....I've followed Sam since high school, and attended every USC home game, and a few away games. This is the NFL, few QB rookies come out as instant stars....I just hope you folks support him when he's not doing so well, or loses you a few games. Not out of the realm of possibility that a future QB star has a terrible rookie year.
Lol, no I know you are. I’m talking about this fan base. And I don’t think he will have a terrible rookie year (he’s too good) but even if he does I think folks will stick by him.
