Perriman is worth kicking the ties. I’d kick ‘em very gently. Of a possible 48 games, he’s appeared in less than 30. Maybe it’s training and conditioning, but it could also be that he’s just injury prone, which has hurt his growth. Still, you can’t teach size, and if he somehow passes a physical, why not give him a shot?

"DAN BAILEY IS AN NYJ MUST!!!"

He's only 30 years of age and the NFL's 2nd most accurate FG Kicker of All-Time.

During week 7 of last year (San Francisco) he injured his groin (far from a career threatening injury) and prior to his week 7 injury he was 7/7 heading into that game (100%).

However upon returning from injury he only went 8/13 (61.5%).

It's no coincidence either. The man was hurt.

Before his groin injury (week 7) Dan Bailey had been the most accurate kicker in NFL history among players with at least 100 attempts.

I won't let a groin injury (from last year) tell me otherwise moving forward either.

He's more than just an accurate FG Kicker too. He's got a leg.

Week two of last year (2017) he absolutely drilled a 56-yard field goal that went right through the uprights.

Dallas can keep their little journeyman of walk on preseason kicker - and as a Jets fan - I'll gladly take and accept the NFL's 2nd most accurate FG kicker of All-Time.

If we steal Dan Bailey as a 2017 Free Agent?

Mike Maccagnan will then sign his own check for guaranteed Executive GM of the Year and Jason Garrett could literally end up losing his job over this one.

    MAKE IT HAPPEN MAGIC MIKE!!!

Last time we got a Dallas kicker it worked out pretty well.

Bailey is out in Dallas because they shaved his salary.

Wow. That is atrocious coming from a former 1st round pick and looks to be a complete bust.

I want nothing to do with this WR but I'm in love with the thought of the NFL's 2nd most accurate FG Kicker of All-Time in Dan Bailey sporting Green and White.

    - Yes to Dan Bailey.
    - No to this bust of a WR.

    1. Brandon Bryant, Safety. Undrafted in the 2018 NFL supplemental draft, Bryant had a strong ending to the preseason. Could be a factor in the safety rotation by next year.
    2. Frankie Luvu, OLB. Undrafted free agent in the 2018 NFL draft class, Luvu was a surprise cut. Had a strong camp, at times running with the starters. Might be in the plans as a situational pass rusher of the future.
    3. Deontay Burnett, WR. Undrafted free agent in the 2018 NFL draft class, Burnett had a very strong preseason with the Tennessee Titans, catching all eleven passes he was targeted on. Former USC teammate of Sam Darnold.
    4. De’Angelo Henderson, RB. A poor man’s Maurice Jones-Drew, and a personal favorite of mine, Henderson is a height challenged running back and a sixth round choice of the Broncosin the 2017 NFL draft. Henderson could challenge for playing time soon.
    5. Anthony Wint, ILB. Undrafted free agent from the 2018 NFL draft class. A smallish inside linebacker without much in the way of cover skills. Difficult to see this guy developing into a meaningful contributor. Perhaps could be useful on special teams.
    6. Jeremy Clark, CB. A giant cornerback bigger than any safety on the roster, nearly big enough to be a linebacker. Drafted by the Jets in the sixth round of the 2017 NFL draft, Clark spent most of the 2017 season on the sidelines injured.
    7. Nico Falah, OL. Undrafted free agent from the 2018 NFL draft class. An undersized center/guard and another USC teammate of Sam Darnold. Falah spent time in the Tennessee Titans camp this preseason.

The Jets hosted outside linebacker Jeremiah Attaochu on a visit Sunday, a source told PFT.

Attaochu, 25, was a second-round pick of the Chargers in 2014. He played 38 games, starting 13, in his four-year career with the Chargers.

The 49ers signed him to a one-year, $3 million contract in March. They released him Saturday.

Attaochu played four games last season, getting 59 defensive snaps and 43 on special teams. He made seven tackles

My thing with Perriman is... at this point, wouldn’t you rather let him get some burn over Stewart? We know what he is: not good and not smart. Perriman is a relative unknown (cue someone posting PFF stats). If he doesn’t work out, ditch him. We still have four other extremely capable starting WRs on the roster.

Hey, we know who and what he is. Until he becomes super annoying, he stays or leaves on his own. He's an obnoxious homer that excuses everything bad but you know that every time you see one of his posts. You could always put him on ignore if it gets too much to bear. WE will step in if and when that becomes necessary. Since he's a returnee that doesn't think we know, we won't mind too much if you by some chance become a bit rude as our back door returnees usually get used for target practice.

    Have at it. Green light.jpg

I don't like the idea of trying out Bailey although based on past performance it makes sense to do so. I'm concerned about the karma that comes from a management that lets a guy win a job and then is willing to dump him. Getting Bailey isn't going to change the trajectory of this team an iota but maybe loyalty will.

It's like meeting a nice girl, going out on a few dates, start building a relationship and then dump her for a hotter looking girl. That's not going to work out in the long run and you get a bad rep.

The position where we suck is at punter--why the hell are we not bringing in Lechler?

Funny how many chances 6' 2" WRs who run great 40s get. He sounds exactly like S Hill. A player who climbs the draft board because of a combine and measurables but isnt good enough of a player to justify his draft position. There is talk about him being an all time Ravens bust because of being a 1st round pick

    Guess its not just us

It is interesting that people find those who constantly see the good in something much more annoying that those who see the bad in every move, at every turn. Its always this way while I could care less about those who look for the good, cant find reasons to be annoyed over a fan being, well, a fan. Is interesting though so...
