It might be, but I doubt it. I think that high-profile players like him have probably been given every chance to succeed, and haven't. It could be bad fits in wrong blocking schemes or personality conflicts with coaches, but my guess is that Cooper and Warmack probably have poor work ethics/are lazy, or have been continually banged up/injured. I don't know if cut players at this point will come in for workouts if other teams are interested, but if so, it wouldn't hurt to bring in some OL and work them out. I'm probably most interested in Xavier Su'a-Filo and TJ Clemmings, but have no idea how good or bad they have been in the NFL. Clemmings was a two-year starter for the Vikings and they traded him to the Redskins or released him and the Redskins have already given up on him after one year and one TC, so may not be worth the trouble. Su'a-Filo at least knows the zone blocking scheme. He has appeared in 56 games the last 4 seasons, and started 31 of 32 games the last two seasons with the Texans. I don't know why the Titans gave up on him this quickly. Don't know if he's not that good or maybe couldn't adapt to their blocking scheme or has been injured.
Haha! Thinking about it... He might actually play with his wallet in his back pocket. One of those long luxury wallets.
I feel like we have a thread like this every year this time.Every time they either add no one or add some random UDFA from some other team who gets released 3 weeks into the season.
BS I didn't see you making the same comment to the poster who created the Jets' roster cuts thread. It makes it easier when someone posts the info here so everyone doesn't have to go to those different sites, but then you know that. You're just being an ass as normal. If you want to do something of value, quit posting on this site. You drag it down. As a matter of fact, the world would be better off without assholes like you.
You go work overtime and Tony throws eggs and tomatoes at you..SMH Whats the saying "dont throw your pearls before swine?"
Curious why the edit isn't showing up? You did say "You're just being an ass as normal and you can go fuck yourself." Right you little bitch. When you actually start watching football, and learn anything about the game, get back to me. Copy and pasting the names of every scrub cut with the disclaimer" I don't know anything about the player listed is not " a valuable contribution". Grow up you punk, and then go fuck yourself.
Ok I am not going to get into a pissing contest with you about the Patriots offensive line since the discussion was about the Jets offensive line. Maybe you are right and I am wrong about the Jets OLine. But it seems the following sites would be wrong also? This site has the Jets OLine ranked 29th, http://www.sportingnews.com/us/fant...ng-back-quarterback/vrtis9nam288189s72vxijl2g This site has the Jets OLine ranked 31. https://www.thefantasyfootballers.c...sive-lines-their-effect-entering-2018-season/ This website has the Jets ranked dead last at 32 for run blocking https://sports.yahoo.com/ranking-32...can-unlock-fantasy-rb-bargains-214318045.html This website has them ranked 30th http://thehuddle.com/2018/07/03/offensive-line-rankings-review/ This website has them at 29th https://www.numberfire.com/nfl/news/20416/fantasy-football-offensive-line-rankings-for-2018 If all these sites are wrong like me and you are correct, then you must be a football genius! Trust me when I say this, the Jets need serious help in the OLine. If you want to discuss the Pats offensive line, should you not do it in the NFL forum? I take no pleasure in the Jets having a bad offensive line and I think you should realize like many other folks on this board that the Jets did not do enough to improve their OLine.
What do you think about the Center out of San Diego, Spencer Pulley? He started all of last year, could he be a better back up, and even a back up guard?
Trick to this FA/cut thing is to find those teams that have great depth at certain positions as to a good reason why some players get cut. With that in mind, pick any OL from the Eagles - they have great depth in that position.
I'm one of them- but no matter how much of a case/argument I make about this glaring weakness, there are still many here whistling in the dark with the idea that 2 QB depth should work. I say, pay close attention to how this group performs against a so so group of D that the Lions will put out on the Monday night game. It will be very telling.
Giants picked him up. Not particularly enamored with him. He's Wesley Johnson-esque at center. Fairly athletic for a guy his size but not nearly strong enough. Gets manhandled a lot. Not a good center at all. As back up guard probably a bit better. Very much a fringe guy but will hang around the league due to versatility. But I wouldn't take him over anybody we have already The fact that the Giants picked him up (and a bunch of other guys cut from other teams) is really a bad sign for the Giants roster depth wise. They are extremely top heavy.
