Another person who knows football better than me. Not saying you are wrong but I wish we had Beasley. What can I say?
I was going to read through the posts (sorry to everyone else) but I didn't. This was the only post that I needed to see, it echoed my exact feelings on the matter. It's hard to even say the guy was a bad pick since he never had a chance but ac made up for it the following year as you said.
According to some asshole who posts here we were supposed to cut him after he fumbled on that kickoff return against the Bills
Can’t really fault Mac for him being injured as much as he has. Though the few times he was one the field he didn’t look that great.
Oh, I definitely don't count that against Mac either. Regardless, just another frustrating example of 2nd rounders that haven't worked out for us one way or another.
Yeah but we got Anderson who is exactly what Devin Smith was supposed to be anyway. I don't think Smith was ever projected to be a true #1 receiver, which I think is our only need for that position. Also Maye looks to be a great 2nd rounder for us so far.
never liked this pick...1 dimensional speed WR in the 2d rd just not a good idea...2d rd is a wasteland for this team
Sounds like Jeff Ross at the Emmitt Smith Roast telling Emmitt, Troy Aikman wanted to be here but he suffered a concussion opening the invitation!
i never liked it either. i wanted DGB who went a few picks later but to be fair he didn't work out either to be fair though, besides cooper who went 4th overall the whole draft class pretty much sucked at WR. funchess was a decent pick in the 2nd and is a decent WR. lockett isn't bad either but none of them are world beaters. diggs in the 5th round is probably the best in the whole class besides cooper at 4th overall and the rest were all pretty much busts or depth guys at best
Yet another one I called from miles away, along with DeWayne Robertson and Kyle Wilson. He should have been cut immediately after he muffed that punt in the endzone against the bills.
