As a starter for this group I arbitrarily decided a minimum of 5 will make the final roster. When the roster minimums are decided we will pool all the remaining positions together to compete for the final 5 openings.

  2. Johnson/Claibourne/Nickerson/Burris/Clarke.Hoping Nockerson can pick up the slot in place of skrine..otherwise think the last spot comes down to Burris vs Clarke who had a few mentions out of OTAs.

Same. Hoping to see Clarke emerge. But I have Busta in at the nickle. Not too high on Burriss

  4. Yeah me either.Holding out hope that he turns the corner but he cant play off,his feet are too slow if he loses in press & hes notvall that great in press to begin with!

Jones could be a dark horse as hes very talented & has value as a gunner on ST

Yep, Jones too. I saw somewhere Clarke trying Safety cause of his size. Maybe do what Marcus Coleman did under Parcells/Belli eventually?

I just hope to see him look good. Maybe go to the PS and become part of a threaded monster at Safety at some point :)

Someone, maybe Hughes, had an article last year before TC that discussed how the Jets drafted Clark to play in their big Nickel package ala Deone Buchanan. Clark is a really big dude who has played CB and S, so in theory he might be a great fit as the moneybacker. I'll be watching for it during the pre-season.

Johnson, Claibourn, Skrine and Burris should be locks for the position.

I agree with the first 3, but not Burris. He showed a lot of potential his rookie season, then his play fell off a cliff. Jones, Clark, Roberts or Robinson could all wind up ahead of Burris. I'd like to see Burris turn things around, but unless or until he actually does, I think one of the others will beat him out.

It just takes a couple of guys like this to score on that can turn a team around, presuming your drafts are good overall and you have the money for FA.

WR looks like that may have happened with. Now you hope a couple of guys emerge else where. How about Donahue? The dude was fucking around, careening around out of control literally. Maybe that incident turns his ass around and he becomes a different guy?

Anyway, now all we need is Darnold to hit his stride by '19

I’m really hoping Clark is healthy and plays to his potential.

Before he injured his knee he was looking very much like a mid-second rounder and he has tremendous size and athleticism. Would love for him to shine.

I don’t get what happened to Burris. He looked pretty damn good his rookie season and then last year not so much.

Isn't his salary kind of prohibitive at this point?
