Who do you think will be the 1st to take the field for their team? It's a tough one for me. Baker Mayfield - It's not going to be baker, the browns already announced him as the 3rd string QB and that he's red-shirted for the 2018 season Darnold I think is a long shot, Bowles said the bets player will play, but he's not even 21 yet, and didn't have a lot of experience in college. It would be hard to see him winning the job, but Mccown could get hurt. he rarely played a 16 game season, even with that no saying Teddy won't be above him as the back-up Josh Rosen, the most pro-ready QB from the draft, but he also has the best QB in front of him of any of the rookies, however bradford always gets hurt. last year he went down in week 2 for the season. Bradford will get hurt, it's just a matter of when, and when he does, Rosen is likely to take over Lamaar jackson - Flacco has a firm grip on the starting job and never gets hurt so it's hard to see jackson taking the field this season, not as a starter at least. Might have a trick play or 2 with him though Josh Allen - Probably the best bet to actually win a starting job of the class. The bill have 0 commitment to Maccaron who is a career back-up making almost nothing, and since they benched taylor in the middle of a playoff run and then traded him, clearly they have no commitment to any QB not named Allen. Mccaron could easily be bested by allen So with all that said, I still have to make the vote for Rosen personally, I think bradford gets hurt before any of the other QBs can overtake the job from the veteran placeholders on their team, But Allen has the best chance to actually take the job and not get it by injury.
I'd say Allen. Bills have no one else who has veteran experience really. McCarron has barely played any professional football himself.
Rosen Bradford will probably get hurt doing the laundry, and I always thought he was overrated anyway
Mayfield starts Week 1, just watch. Darnold starts when we get sick of McCown (could be training camp). Rosen starts when Bradford gets hurt (could be training camp). Allen starts when the Bills realize they won't make the playoffs again (should be training camp). Jackson starts if Harbaugh fears for his job. May not be in 2018.
I'm going with Rosen. Most pro ready, has a QB made of glass and another who isn't very good in front of him.
I don’t think there is really much to debate/discuss here. Rosen has the best team around him and is the most polished passer in the class. Unless Sam Bradford plays outstanding in the preseason, I think Rosen will be a week 1 starter. Don’t misconstrue what I have said though. Rosen is the most polished, but ultimately I think he will struggle to stay healthy and doesn’t have the ceiling that Darnold or even Allen has.
It's a battle of what injury-prone veteran QB will go down first: Josh McCown Tyrod Taylor Sam Bradford My $ is on Bradford, so I'll say Rosen. I think McCarron is going to start the majority of 2018, perhaps even the entire season. He isn't as bad as people make him out to be and I very much doubt the Bills will want to throw Josh Allen out there behind an Offensive Line that will have 3 new starters come Week 1. They're going to need time to gel and who would you rather see take a beating? The guy you just traded up to No.7 overall and will give around 5 years and $25 million to or the guy who has been in the league for four years and you handed a 2 year deal?
Well I would recommend getting a new sense of tumor. I guess you guys missed the 2017 season in sandwich the Jets missed the playoffs and the Bills earned a spot!
Sucks we have go from "the last time the Bills made the playoffs" to the "last time the Bills won a playoff game" But still Lol worthy.
