PRAYING long and hard Allen goes #1 because at that point we literally couldnt fuck shit up if we tried with Darnold, Rosen or Mayfield

The Jets would be foolish not to take Rosen, easily the most mechanically sound QB in this draft... It's almost perfectly fitting that a team who can't develop mechanics to save their lives is going to luck into getting a QB who has little to no mechanical issues. GET ER DONE MAC

The Mara's and Tisch are very involved with the Giants player personnel. They always have been. They're meddlers too but have fallen ass backwards into some miracle success

Haslam has meddled as well. He hired Dorsey. But that doesn't mean Haslman just went to sit in a corner and not get involved.

Haslam in his defense has not gotten involved since the Manziel disaster. He hired Sashi Brown and Paul DePodesta and let them do their thing, and now he’s got Dorsey.

Hopefully for him the Browns end up being the NFL’s version of the 76ers.

Tisch does not get involved in the football operation, and comparing Woody’s football acumen to Mara’s is like comparing Keystone Ice to Pappy Van Winkel.

This would be awful, yet still better than drafting Allen.

We don't know if Haslam has or hasn't meddled in affairs since making his hires. Remember these owner have egos that are legendary. It's hard for a tiger to change his stripes.

I agree the Tisch's don't really get involved, but the Mara's were absolute feuding clown owners until Rozelle stepped in. The Mara's football acumen has always been overrated and they've always been more lucky than good. That was Rozelle/George Young that bailed the Giants franchise out. Now the Mara's act like they're some respected NFL elder statesmen. Bullshit

For the record I think Gettleman was a poor hire and the Giants reputation around the league has faded. Shurmur is a crap coach and they were turned down by both McDaniels and Patricia.

Man, I want Rosen in green and white just for the weekly pressers alone. The Jets' publicist would be in his hip pocket...LOL Rosen has some Kobe in him.

Its part of the ridiculous idea that only Johnson is concerned about his multibillion dollar business and wants to know whats going on.

Maras wanted Eli benched and when the fanbase exploded fired the HC over it. Haslam has meddled from day one. Manziel? Up and down the league, how many owners arent? Love the idea that we're the only screwed up team doing things wrong. The only team with a band aid GM, whatever that means

I will be so disappointed if we don't get Rosen! He's exactly what the Jets need, not just from the physical/QB aspect, but from the standpoint of "Marching to the tune of a different drum" - he would make the Jets the cutting edge.

I also want Rosen but Mayfield would be a great choice. 2016 if I thought Darnold was there for the Jets I would beyond excited. He had a bad year but he is still a good QB. Those 3 for us would get the fan base excited again. Allen would be the worst choice without a doubt.

Josh Allen dropped N-bombs on his twitter back in HS. Not a good look. Sort of reinforces that redneck stereotype.

@Brook! any chance we can get that draft thread open since it’s D-day? Would be much easier to get no work done whatsoever today if all the draft chat is confined to one place.
