Another report coming out Jets FO is pushing for Rosen. Why would the FO need to push for Rosen, isn’t their request final?
This is a smokescreen.. all the Rosen talk and baker talk coming out just before draft is all bs. This jet front office is tight lip witch I like. Josh Allen will be the pick if you notice they had the only private workout with him and it was supposed to be quiet. But we keep hearing jets love mayfield then it’s Rosen just so no one jumps ahead of them for Allen. And if the browns do pick him I think jets will then try to get Donald. Jets have be real quiet with him too. But who ever the jets draft of the top 4 l will be extremely happy that we have a FQ. Can’t wait For tomorrow draft.

Their request is in fact final. That's why at this late stage this story is BS. Nobody is pushing for Rosen. That's why it's a smokescreen much like yesterdays Mayfield to Cleveland smokescream. GM's do this to weed out where leaks are coming from fwiw it was reported Woody loved Mayfield.
If Allen is the pick they can all turn in their key cards. The entire front office will be cleaned out by 2020 when he's completing passes at a Sanchezian rate and getting befuddled by Belichick's pre snap wizardry
Perhaps the front office is trying to sell Rosen to the Johnson’s? We all know that Woody cares about the Republican Party far more than the fate of the New York Jets. Don’t think for a second that the owners don’t have a big say over these picks. That poor GM out of Cleveland has Johnny Manziel on his record because of Jimmy Haslam.

The issue is that the only owner in the Top 5 that would get involved is Woody/Chris. 1. Haslam-hired Dorsey to make this decision 2. Mara/Tisch-Hired Gettleman to make this decision 3. Woody/Chris-Gave McCagnan a band-aid contract. This is how the convo probably has gone McCagnan-“Gee whiz Chris, sorry we couldn’t land Kirk Cousins” Chris- “That’s ok Mike, you did everything you could, just make sure you get a QB in the draft McCagnan- “Well unfortunately we are picking #6 overall so I can’t guarantee a QB worth that draft slot will be available Chris- Me and Woody want one of these QB’s! We can’t sell tickets with Josh McCown or the other two bums you drafted under center, figure out a way to get it done. 2 days later McCagnan-Good news Chris, I traded up to get the #3 overall pick. We are guaranteed either Darnold, Rosen, or Allen Chris-Good boy! Woody will be pleased 3 weeks later McCagnan-Chris, great news!
