What do people think of a logo tweak like using the 70's logo inside the current one. Below is the closest i could find online to what i'm envisioning. Do this and switch to the classic kelly green and it basically becomes a refresh but stays true to the classic look of our unis. *i have no idea what NV stands for and i also don't like the black. It was simply the only example i could find of the combined 70s and current logo.
I agree, but finding a sleek, right-sized jet might be difficult. Most commercial jets are monstrous relatively speaking. That's why I think maybe an abstract image might be better. Sort of like the "swoop" underline that's been used, but maybe something more pronounced. Maybe the Jets football logo with flames/jet exhaust coming out of the end?
I understand where you're coming from, and you have a point, BUT...the promise of the jet age hasn't exactly worked out, especially for the jets, and maybe they need a more "militaritistic" logo to help inspire them to "go to war" against other NFL teams and start kicking some ass and taking names.
Not that my vote matters but Leave them alone but ADD the 80’s throwbacks into the fold But that helmet rule is dummmmm so I guess not possible?

I like keeping our currently uniforms, but change the tri color drab greens to kelly green. pic looks good.
