This schedule is just easy enough for the Jets to get off to a good start and Bowles to keep his job.
I'm sure the rest of the country is pumped that the first MNF game is JETS-Lions..... and the Thursday night marquee matchup of JETS-Browns! oh joy.... ANOTHER 1pm september game in JAX. It'll be a refreshing 90 degrees Then end the season with murderers row.... perfect time to put in a rookie QB.

On the flip side, this schedule (on paper) allows the team to try to get off to a good start, maybe 6-4, before seeing those 6 games and if they're winning, they'll have some more confidence and momentum and those two things can play a role in hopefully allowing the team to play even a little bit better in those final 6 games.
runs off to other thread to edit guess lol edit if they are true I got 2 out of 3 in my original guess
seems after the bye we could easily go 1 and 5 or ohhhhh for 6,,,,,,,schedule looks like 6 and 10 at best but thats why they play the games
I see a tough schedule, not sure the early part of it is as easy as some of you guys are saying, @Detroit is tough, Home vs Miami is a toss up, @ Cle in primetime we should win but they are much improved, @ Jax is real tough, and Home games vs Broncos and colts sounds like a split for us.
Well obviously the games against any of the teams that reached playoffs last year will be uber tougher Jax Tenn NE Vikings . Houston Green Bay also hard Will our rookie QB see the field? Uncle Bowles prob says no..otoh without beefing up that OL it might be a stupid move Make him sit like Goff I guess 6-10 folks ..if we are lucky
Sigh ... I’m kinda pissed that the Jets browns game is on a Thursday night. Now if I want to go I’ll have to take Friday off and most likely stay in Cleveland. Nobody want to stay in Cleveland
But for the first time in awhile our first 5 or six games don’t look like a death march. I’d rather end the season hard than knowing it’s over by mid October
