I hate to see the Giants get an absolute stud of a player, but if it gives the Jets a better chance at Darnold or Allen it is a good thing.

Of course the Giants could be leaking this just to drive up the trade value of the #2.
ie we love Barkley so it's gonna take a huge offer to move us off the pick.

This is a purposeful leak in hopes that the Browns will take Barkley 1 so they can nab Darnold at 2. If Browns take Darnold, they might take Barkley though.

Imagine trading up to #3 and still getting Darnold. PHEW.

No one...NO ONE...knows for sure what any team will do on draft night. Even some of the GMs that think they do, will change their mind at the last minute. All these rumors and predictions are just click bait and mental masturbation.

NO! That would be one of the worst things that could happen to the Jets (getting Darnold or Allen). We need Allen or Darnold to go #1 to the Browns and the Giants to take Darnold or Allen (whichever one the Browns don't take). That would leave the Jets with a choice of Mayfield/Rosen, and hopefully, they'd take Mayfield. The Broncos would take Rosen, and the Bills would be left with Rudolph or Jackson.

I say if the draft goes with just one QB in the first two picks then we are blessed. If Rosen and Mayfield are both there at 3 we are doubly blessed. At this point I would not exclude any of the top four to be picked by the Jets. Might be a surprise to many of us but who the hell knows.
Will it be "Broadway Josh" , " Super Sam " or "Money Maker". ?
    Cant wait

Just when I thought Macagnan was the misinformation master..

With less than 2 weeks to go Gettleman serves this up...all for consumption methinks

I think Penny is right ..get the Browns to bite on Saquon ..so Giants get their man of all seasons DArnold

If this actually plays out: will it be Rosen the talented Glasshead or a Bakers Dozen??

    The Gods shine a light!!!!!

As much as I hate the WCO, it's what we're running, and Darnold and Mayfield are the two guys most suited to run it.

I'd rather Darnold, but have always been operating under the assumption that he will be gone when we pick.

That leaves one other option to me.

Actually Mayfield and Rosen are the two best QBs for the Jets' offense, not Darnold (at least according to the "experts," as I haven't seen one who said that Darnold would be one of the best fits. Everyone I've seen has said Rosen and Mayfield, with Mayfield being the best.).

I think bringing Rosen in, who is almost unanimously considered to be "pro-ready" Day 1, with Eli would create a very tense situation. Eli would be looking over his shoulder, and the fans would be quick to call for Rosen the first bad game Manning has. As pessimistic as I am as a Jets fan, I don't think the Giants would do this. I see them more going for Darnold or Allen, both of whom need time on the bench, and won't be such an immediate threat to Eli.

This is a smoke screen. We all know that the Jets are going to trade up to the #1 to grab Barkley.

The fact that this hasn't yet leaked from the Jets, only proves it's true.

Thanks for repeating the same sentence two different ways, but I think you and your experts are wrong.

All three are suited for WCO but Rosen has been described by his own head coach as being bored easily and the WCO is an offense that becomes repetitive and mundane, that is its nature.

It's got ridiculous terminology in the huddle and it lulls defenses into a false sense of security. I have always hated it for this because I think the shitface Patriots have always had it right on offense, but it's what we have.

Rosen is a bad fit, because he will question what he's doing every week and the Jets aren't smart enough to change for a player.

Please post twelve paragraphs of dumb crap in response because I am looking forward to scrolling past it to see a smart post.
