You haven't called me any names at all, just other folk but I do possess the ability to read and dislike what I read sometimes. As for the pissy comment I quoted your own post that said "Think that makes me pissy" My answer was yes, not quite the same as outright calling you pissy out of the blue now is it But as for this bolded part, I think you have been pissy and like I have said to your good self at least a million times (twice really) I am unsure about all of the QB draft class so your hatred of Mayfield is pissing me off but not because I am a Mayfield fanboy but because it is fucking irritating to read you continually drone on at the people that disagree with you and all the while bleat that they are somehow doing this to you because they are Mayfield fanboys, it is the oddest thing ever lol
Now find where I have ever said I hate Mayfield. And keep ignoring the fact that I keep saying I'm cool with Mayfield or Allen, can understand if either one is drafted by Macc. I'd lose it if either is taken over Rosen or Darnold. Not really hard to understand. I'm sick of that statement initiating an argument
Robert Klemko, Joel Klatt, Benjamin Allbright and others are a bit more connected than Incarcerated Bob.
Plus on that.. I've posted time and again just looking at who is WINNING on the big stage it's Mayfield hands down Josh Allen had trouble beating Iowa while BM beat arguably the BEST team in the country Ohio State something like 36-16 RESULTS Count in my book ..not whether you are 6 five Come to think of it ...in the Big 12 and Big 10 the DLs Mayfield faced were all gianormous and prob quick and talented ..many end up drafted for NFL
Ahhh..Yes..Mac handing the keys to a Cadillac/Mercedes/Bentley to Toilet Bowles...(CRASH).. Seriously..whoever gets drafted must win inSPITE of the HC imo
Look. A few members reported this message. Looks like you are alienating a few folks. My kind request to you is to stop labeling people as fanboys. Everybody is entitled to their opinions. Either show people the respect they deserve or I will bench you accordingly. This is your last warning. So BrowningNagle who is a staple of this board is Twisted and he needs help with his logic. Get off your high horse.
There are going to be at least 2 acceptable FQB prospects on the board when the Jets pick. As long as they don't overthink it and try to go outside the box we're probably good. The questions I would try to answer before draft night: Josh Rosen - how committed is he to a long prosperous NFL career? Nothing else really matters. Injuries happen to everybody and you can't take somebody because they are durable or not take them because they got injured, this assuming they are good to go when you draft them. Baker Mayfield - can he handle the NYC spotlight? The glare is much brighter than anything he's seen before and there's a 24/7 party available if that's what you want to do. Secondarily, is he going to be about the Jets and winning or is he likely to be looking for greener pastures down Dallas way in 5 or 6 years? The second issue could also be there for Rosen on the West Coast, however it's likely the Jets and Rosen can come up with a Brady-like arrangement on the cap vs compensation and NYC is the place to be if you want to go into finance after your NFL career is over. That looks like the binary choice to me, with one of those guys certain to be available on the 3 unless Darnold drops for some reason. All 3 of those guys can get it done if they're given a good opportunity and surrounded with some offensive talent. Any of them might fail but it will not be because the ability is not there.
Good summary. I think that's why Macc traded up to 3. There are pros and cons of those 3 QBs but he wanted to make sure he lands one at least. I would like to be a fly in that war room though when they deliberate over Rosen and Mayfield
So fanboy is a bad thing. Insulting? I can be called out constantly for saying both QBs have issues and im cool with either QB. That's ok though, just want to know. And logic is a function of how long a person had been here? On top of which it's ok that he called me aAllen fanboy. Given that I have no issue with each QB how does that work as a logical stance. Better yet why is it ok to call me a fanboy in the same post where I'm chastised for calling someone a fanboy.. while be called pissy. Got to say, doesn't seem all that fair. And is quite confusing. I'll tone back but...
If you go Rosen you're trying to get Peyton Manning. He wants a franchise LT to protect the blindside and a workhorse RB who can catch the ball. If you go Mayfield you're hoping for Drew Brees. He wants the LT and excellent interior lineman who can get the DL hands down and open windows to throw through. They're both going to elevate the receivers if they get the other things.
No it is not OK to call you a fanboy. From now on if you ever see anybody attacking you for your opinion please report and that person will be banned. I hope I am clear. No more name calling please.
My decision on Rosen vs. Mayfield would come down to which one I liked better in the interviews. I like them both on the field, but I want the one I can trust with the franchise.
Does being called pissy and other names count? Lol, listen o said I'll tone back. I thought we were adults. I don't get mad for being called afanboy or pissy. It's a message board, as I said to one of them earlier, not everyone is going to agree with you. Should be obvious after 10 posts. Plus who wants to discuss with people who don't have differing opinions.
