I understand principles of sociology & how they apply to a forum such as this one.Differing opinions are always fine but when an opinion that is extremely short sighted & flawed starts to become a movement for a team well known to have ownership that caters to the fan base & a TMZ-esque media beat I take issue. Are we gonna need to see drafts eve manish headlines “ Jets fans prepare reviolt if team drafts Allen” or have to see another sport center top 10 spot of jet fans booing a pick that should bring joy to all?This is supposed to be a happy day for jet fans.I don’t care which QB they pick..I’m gonnna celebrate like We just won the division & will be purchasing my 3 year old’s first jersey of whoever that QB is that same night.10 victor Cruz-less Xmas mornings in one! Is a short sighted opinion based on ignorance & impatience gonna embarass this fan base for their own behavior once again & put a dark cloud over all of this?

You even went back and edited that post to bold the entire second half, highlighting the fact that you actually said it. This is just so stupid. “What have you done for me lately” jet fans writing off Allen due to stats & anointing Mayfield for the very same reason.As I just explained in multiple other posts. Liking Mayfield better than Allen is totally fine..it’s the completely dismissing that is rather annoying & puts a damper heading into draft day. How hard is it to just be happy to get one of the four? Allen has been a top 10 prospect for 2 years & the jets are perfectly reasonable to be considering him at #3,yes even possibly over Mayfield. Everyone of the 4 is legit in their own way. Can’t that be good enough?
I don't understand why any of this matters? Come draft day, some people will be unhappy regardless of who gets picked. This isn't just Jets fans, it's all fans. Whatever. You're addressing an enigmatic group of people. There probably won't be a ton of people from here who feel some draft pick is a sure sign of the apocalypse. Whatever happens happens. If the Jets make the wrong pick, then we as a fan base are back to more years of waiting and disappointment. C'est la vie.
So much stuff is put out this time of year as a smoke screen I do not know what to believe is real or what is fake. But hearing rumors like that always reminds me of incaerated Bob's prediction that we were signing Asmougah which had this board on fire. It turned out to be a great thing we did not sign up. But back to the point there does seem to be a lot of signs, rumors or finger pointing of late that Baker is the guy the FO wants. Is it true or more smoke? This is what makes this time of year so exciting. All the name calling and put downs on the boards is what makes me hate it. But it will end soon and hopefully we all will be excited whether it's Baker or one of the Josh's.
That really was great. Buffalo moved up from #21 to #12 right? Then their next plan was to move to #3. Mac did it first. Love it. As for the #3 overall pick: I like and dislike something from all 4 guys, so I will be happy with any. Just hope the Jets properly coach and help the young QB reach his proper potential.

It really is kind of a win-win assuming our front office can be trusted with this situation. Either you put out the smokescreen that you want Mayfield and a team gives up a buttload to jump up to the second pick to take him from you (unlikely) or you just select him at 3. I also have a hard time believing they have Mayfield ranked that much higher than Rosen should this be the truth, so if someone grabs mayfield, Rosen falls into our laps. We are in a great spot.
The way you talk to people in your replies makes you pissy, actually they make you something else really but I am under orders to be nicer to people atm.
