I can only imagine the pain and suffering of posters who have experienced the nearly 50 years of Jets football without even 1 Super Bowl appearance. It was in 2008 after the 1-4 finish to what was once a promising season that I realized that things aren't supposed to go the Jets way. Let's see if Mac picks the right QB at 3 and turns our fortunes around.
Honestly though I can say I like Mac's approach to this QB abortion? This is the most logical approach I've ever seen Mac take? By the time TC gets here, Mac will have honest, all out fight for the right to start for this team. I don't believe I've seen another team do things this logical? He's covered all of his bases and he still hedged his bets? Josh McCown is making sure you at least get a decent QB if all else fails? We already know what he is. He's not our future, but he's good competition for a few cocky younger guys. Ted Bridgewater? This is all about feast or famine for me? He could be Joe Namath if he's able to recapture his early success and keep his health in check? He might have gotten a franchise QB for 1 year 5 million? This could be like Parcels signing Testaverde through FA? BUT? He could also look worse than Hackenberg? Either way Mac got him for chump change and can cut him any time he wants. Best of all, we'll have a young, but top QB talent prospect hanging around and trying to quickly catch up with two veterans. An EXCELLENT challenge for an overly confident little asshole that spent the spring of 2018 talking about how great he was and how he was going to set the NFL world on fire? Does ANYONE see how fucking dumb it is to know what Mark Sanchez had done in 2009, 2010, and 2011 and yet still bring him into the 2012 TC as the unquestioned, unchallenged QB of the team? Did anyone ever think Tim Tebow was brought to NY to actually challenge Mark Sanchez at the QB spot? Was Greg McElroy drafted to actually keep Mark Sanchez fighting to keep his job and getting better? Suffice it to say, I like Mac's approach much better.
This is exactly correct, he was in another thread last week and pretty much accused him of coming back on with a new name, saying his posting style was obvious and something about his signature message ? Before my time so couldn't give a shit if he was somebody else before hand or not tbh.
The trade up to the third pick signifies a new era... a new era of what exactly??? This team has moved up in the draft in the past so what is so special about now???

It's not whining. It's a legitimate complaint. Worse by far is posters who complain about other posters voicing their displeasure/dissatisfaction (which is one of the purposes of a fan site like this), and call it "whining." The site will be infinitely better when that crap stops.
Is there such a thing as a Jets sunshiner forum? This is a darksiders forum because as Cman said the alternatives are either not giving a damn or being totally delusional. Get back to me complaining about so-called whining when the team actually has some sustained success, rather than sustained failure.
