I've watched all his film and highlighted areas of concern. Please provide me with specifics from his film to watch. Maybe I'm missing something.
Definitely. I'm not saying inaccuracy causes these QBs to fail, only that inaccuracy predicts failure.
All the Allen haters are going to see how special this kid is. He’s built like a brick house, best arm talent I’ve ever seen, humble farm boy, played in a pro offence that developed a current star, is an underrated athlete and most of all brings a competitive nature to his team.
Yea like I said, I feel like I'm in the twilight zone reading the stuff he's writing about Allen. And then he says that we need to watch the film... as if this collective website hasn't been doing that for damn near two months.
Look on YouTube how accurate he is when he has a clean pocket and can set his feet. Check out how little separation wis WRs were getting with a collapsing pocket due to a poor OL. He’s a team guy and didn’t throw his OL and WRs under the bus.
So true. It's Become so personal. Some are more concerned with convincing all that their guy is the only smart choice. They hate the option more than they like their guy. I had a small minded fool calling me a moron because I was saying I get why they would pick Allan if that's Maccs choice. As if it's so obvious, so guaranteed that Mayfield is the only choice.
You do know that Wentz put up a 40 on his wonderlic, has a photographic memory and is a complete workaholic. Wentz isn't just a physical freak. He's smart, works hard and can actually handle being in the spotlight and developing himself as a QB. I want to see Allen negotiate the Dick and Jane reading list before I anoint him as better than Wentz.
Guy got major wood for Allen. I just hope he's distraught on draft day because that means we didn't draft Allen.
They come from the same tree when it comes to prep. Wentz was doing that in division 2 where Allen did it at a much higher level of competition
I just don't know why you'd go to bat this hard for a guy that has such glaring weaknesses that are on film for the world to see.
Game situations, like the Namath game, effects things too. Trail in games, lack talent at WR or some combination turns you into deep ball crazy. Completion percentages have to drop. Why I don't look at numbers on their own. Allan can throw the deep ball, doesn't worry me, I'm more concerned with mid passes with any QB. Teams don't fire away with deep passes like Namath did in that classic against Unitas
