    So if we’re clear on this can we end this ridiculous thread?

    Jets gave up a lot to try to get a franchise QB. Who gives a shit how it’s worded?

    Hey BS. Just so you and I are clear on this, I'm great with that. I know they have up a lot, and the wording will mean nothing of they get a franchise QB.

    The wording will mean a lot of this trade turns out to be a shit show.

    And people will not get away with pretending that the Jets only traded 3 second round picks.

    The latter by very far, and it won't matter.

    The best player on a basketball team coming back a few weeks before the playoffs to play his 10th game of the season means the chemistry will be garbage.

    This thread is clearly inspired by your displeasure of the trade. I get what the thread is about but it’s not note worthy. People aren’t (majority) going to think in those terms you listed anyway, even if the pick fails, it will still be about....

    “Well at least we only gave up three twos...”

    If this is a flop, it will likely result in the GM and CS losing their job. If it is a money pick, everyone will be praising The Macc.

    Only because we would have finally found our FQB. (Im hopeful.)

    So either way, sounds like this is ultimately a win-win for you anyway.

    I hate to bust your bubble but IMHO the 4th wild card QB in the Jets mind is Baker M and they are not going there.
    Nor are the other top draft contenders.
    So it might well go Allen or Darnold for the Jets. Not to mention some are thinking Allen is a tall reincarnated version of Dan Marino. If that is remotely close I will pull the plug in a nano second.
    The selection will go down as Mac's legacy...or downfall
