I think the Browns are taking either Allen or Darnold at 1. They have to now.
#2, the Giants may either take the latter or Rosen.

I personally feel the Jets love Rosen and Mayfield. Bottom line is its realistic that 4 QB's could have gone in the top 5, and with a franchise badly needing a QB, you can't risk sitting at 6, hoping one falls. That's a dangerous game to play.

i can't believe there are actual idiots on this forum questioning this move. Of all the questionable things the Jets do this is the hill that you're standing on? Jesus christ.

Fucking AMAZING move. Guarantees us Darnold, Rosen or Mayfield. What kind of bonehead fan questions that move?

I agree I read somewhere that Bills want to trade up for Josh Allen.

You make a fair point but you had to make this trade now because waiting for draft day could mean another team jumps you. So many teams need QBs, sitting there an waiting until draft day for your guy to be there would be the kiss of death.

I agree. Not to mention, you could say that with any draft and any pick. "IF he hits." If he hits with a 5th round QB, nobody will care. Doesn't make it a good or bad move though.

It looks like two of the top three QBs in this draft will be playing in New York. I don't believe the Giants will pass up one of the QBs to take Barkley Eli is 37 or 38.

That's gonna be weird and great for the league.

If one busts I hope/better be the Giants guy. Ha!

For the 3 spots? When the guy you want so bad could very easily be gone by the time you pick at 3 or also could have very well still been there at 6 . This trade up ensures nothing , and we have a ton of holes to fill. Time to go hard on free agency I guess . I can't get on board with this , sorry.

Same. Apparently they’re not shy about letting everyone know about it and the trading Cordy Glenn to move up to 12 means that the bills know they have enough picks to jump up into the top 5 to get their guy as well. I’d think they will go to giants or browns at 4

Couldn't agree more. I will even go as far as saying even if we get unlucky and there are 2-3 QBS sitting there ad Mac chooses the wrong one, you can't question the move to trade up. You may kill him for the selection and thats fair, but to question the actual trade up is insane

no it's not. I wanted Wentz badly in his draft.
There is no guy like that in this draft. Closest thing is Allen, but he's not as polished as Wentz.

    Mayfield very interesting though..

That is a bad opinion you got there. Anything BUT Allen.

The draft trade chart is just a guideline, it's not the law. It's like real estate, the true worth is whatever someone will pay. Great trade up here, no 1st round picks given up. Here is what the Eagles traded 2 years ago to move up from 8:

    2016 first-round pick (No. 8)
    2016 third-round pick (No. 77)
    2016 fourth-round pick (No. 100)
    2017 first-round pick (No. 12)
    2018 second-round pick
